even if youre 'back' or not, i just want to say that your intermission art has kept the intermission fandom going for years. Youre such a staple in the community, your art is just amazing!

i was gonna be like 'surely not' but looking back through my art tag... i drew so much stuff fjslkdjf being surrounded by other artists was motivation i'd never had before, and my years in the intermission and transfomers fandoms accelerated my art growth way more than i could have imagined

THEY'D FIT THE STYLE WELL OF COURSE yeah for the past two years or so i've been playing around with the midcentury illustration style in an attempt to unlearn the "gotta fully render your art or it doesn't COUNT as a real ART" brainrot

Ahh! Trico moment, but happiness aside, I have no clue how to word this, but. "Recent" Intermission art, do you enjoy seeing them? (This is a dumb question I know. But I'm just curious to see just how cool it might be that there are still Intermission fans and how it must be a bit different from like, 2014?)

I haven't actually seen much Intermission art on my dash for a long time now. I still have a handful of mutuals that I first followed like a decade ago, but they've all branched off into different things of course, as have I. it's fun for me to revisit my old homestuck art every now and then, but I've been out of the loop, so I can't say what the Intermission fandom is like these days.

Hello! I am doing okay, all things considered. Nobody in my family has gotten sick, which is a miracle - I’m one of the only ones who isn’t old/susceptible in some way. I still have my job and can even do some work from home. I’m living with my partner who is absolutely wonderful. The two of us do our best to take care of our house and chores while also setting aside plenty of time each day for quiet rest or playing video games together. Our cat loves having both of us home all the time. On the flip side, literally everybody in my family has at least one kind of mental illness jflskjdflkf so it’s been rough watching my loved ones dipping back into bad habits. I do all I can to stay in touch with them in safe ways but I still worry tremendously about everyone of course.  So because of that worry it’s become very tough to draw. I feel extra bad because I rediscovered my love for the Intermission juuuuuust before all this hit, so I really jumped back in and then right back out. I didn’t mean to like... tease everyone and then just bounce fjslkdfj Anyway even if I can’t manage to post art or even really draw fun things for myself, I’m still trying to get some good practice and review in on the basics. I figure that way I’ll at least keep my drawing skills in shape so when I feel like sharing things again, I’ll be ready. Thanks everyone for your patience and I hope you’re all okay as you can be.
