whenever the flamel name comes up in history, more often than not the name nicolas goes before it. and whilst nicolas flamel is without doubt an exceptional and remarkable wizard, many forget that his wife perenelle flamel is in fact his equal in innovation and excellence though her accomplishments in the advancement of magical medicine seem to be carried out in a silent, discrete matter, leaving one to wonder if she is merely content improving and touching lives in the most subtle ways without expecting much credit for it and doesn’t care for a place in the spotlight.

being a seventh daughter of a seventh daughter, there is no question that perenelle ( like her husband ) was destined for great things and did them silently, efficiently, and without much need for credit.

even now perenelle flamel remains one of the more obscure figures in magical history, and though rumour says that to this day she remains active in the medical field under an alias, no one knows exactly all the things perenelle flamel has done. 

and perhaps that is the way she likes it.
