Valley Of Unity

100 x 100 cm Mixed Media on Canvas Grahame Morgan-Watson ©2019 "The Valley of Unity Next comes the Valley of pure Unity, ' placeof lonely, long austerity, And all who enter on this waste have found Their various necks by one tight collar bound - If you see many here or but a few, They're one, however they appear to you, The many here are merged in one; one form Involves the multifarious, thick swarm (This is the oneness of diveristy, not oneness locked in singularity); Unit and number here have passed away; Forget for-ever and Creation's day - That day is gone; eternity is gone; Let them depart into oblivion." Boundelss Dimensions: An Exhibition of Contemporary Art by Grahame Morgan-Watson

OPEN DAILY 10 am to 10 pm (Sundays 1pm to 10pm) In this exhibition, I have brought together an eclectic selection of recent paintings, inspired by nature, events and personal insights. Some, like Boundless Dimensions and Brilliancy, are impressions from my travels and imagination. Others like Neglecting and Retreating will have an emotional link to a place or experience . As with all Art, the perspective that you as the viewer brings, is as valid as that of the artist. Over time our perspectives may change - maybe from a deeper understanding, or from just changing our positions. I explore this in Sea Change. This piece had a former life under a different title. Re-imagining the work, allowed something new and fresh to arise, from the destruction of a previous idea. I find this approach as refreshing as my participation in jazz music. Every tune expresses itself in a different way. I hope you enjoy the art, and continue to see new perspectives in each painting. Grahame lives and creates in Littleworth, Partridge Green. He will be opening his house and Studio room in June as part of the Horsham Art Trail. Read the full article

Boundless Dimensions

"Boundless Dimensions" - The painting that defines the theme of my exhibition at The Capitol, in Horsham, that is on now until 24th March. We don’t have to have been there, to go there in our imagination. A sense of stillness can be instilled through our minds eye. 100x100cm Mixed Media on Canvas 2019 Read the full article
