Basically the cross out emojis come from a unicode prompt that allows you to add the prohibition symbol to another emoji by pasting it directly behind the emoji, doing this you were able to create an anti pride emoji or any other variant you can think of.
Twitter for web app and some browsers do not load rhe symbol properly, leading them to see some kinda glitch with a dash instead of the cross out emoji. When people are unable to see the emojis as intended I call them a wep app peasant because iphone and android users see it fine
