Writing Day Journey #4

We were traveling back from Vacay today, and we had a 6pm-9:45 lay-over. Needless to say I found some time to write. I did manage to get a few papers graphs started during the trip. However I didn’t have my laptop, so I was typing on my phone, and had to do a mini time/place skip which I will need to fix once it is added in. But, we got to a rescue mission/the actual job that Dusky has signed up for. Sneaking in goes without a hitch but they soon hit a few bumps in the road (which I haven’t written yet, but have planned out) and Dusky’s having a confidence crisis. So... so far so good!

You guys remember that day I complained about having to use math for my book. Yeah, that was not fun. I was creating a herbal birth control and/or “hormone”-esque treatment and well, I was trying to figure out doses/weight/price. Talk about fun

Writing Journey Day #2

So, I had a bath-bomb that turned me into a Dalmatian, and that made me have a short scene that I think will turn into a good bonding moment for my sibling characters. :)

Writing Journey Day #1

Whelp, I thought I’d start writing my Writing Journey, kinda similar to a writing vlog that ppl do. But, I don’t wanna record myself... so. 

Basically, my story is a Fantasy that takes place around a Medieval period. I’m writing for a higher aged audience, probably around 16+. I think I’m taking on a lot of inspiration from the Lord of the Rings and Throne of Glass series, but it is definitely not that similar to it once you and compare the two. I haven’t exactly titled my book yet, but the working title is Trio’s Journey. 

As I previously posted here are the three main characters: Dusky, Lucianna and Kai. I’m not really interested in having a love triangle being made with them, so that won’t be apart of their story.

So basically, so far I’ve been averaging about 10 pages per chapter for this book, and currently I have about 36 pages written after starting on it in December 2017. (Wow, that’s slow, lol) And I dont know my word count, as I haven’t been very willing to look at it. So, hopefully things will get more interesting soon! Thanks for reading!

Meet Lucianna Winfield

She’s another Character in our story. My first Concept of her was the picture above, but as I kept world building and creating, she slowly became the bottom picture. She’s the youngest daughter/Princess of the Royal Family of the country Lurunonia.

Intersting Facts:

-Loves Riding Horses/Horses in general

-Has two older brothers

-Her birthday is on the Summer Solstice

Meet Kai White!

Another one of our Characters. He was born and raised in Macodoni City, born in low class, he was selected and sent to the Capitol to be a soilder. When he was recognized for his skills and his parentage came to light, he was given the Position as the Head of Princess Lucianna’s Security.

Interesting Facts: 

-Likes to Write (mainly Poetry)

-His Favorite Animal(s) are Dogs

-Doesn’t have a favorite color

Meet Dusky Shadowthorn

This is Dusky’s first piece of Concept Art I guess (made here, made by @impqueengames- I would check her games out, they’re awesome ) I’d already like to edit it again, I think I made her too light, she’s supposed to have Olive Toned-skin.

-She’s gotta twin sibling named Dawn.

-She can sew

-Her favorite color is purple

Basic Premise

Dusky (our Lead) lives with her Clan in the mountains of Lurunonia, a large country that has open it’s arms to her race. She leaves home during a conflict as no one else is able to go take a job that would help her Clan finically. She then gets into shenanigans in the Capitol- Senasan.
