Everyone warns you agaist going to the supermarket hungry, but nobody tells you about the dangers of going there too full: I do not want any of these things, for I will never require any food at all!

#reallllllllll #the worst grocery store choices are made in such circumstances #at least by me #i have grown accustomed to keeping my impulse buys in what i like to call an in-check-adjacent state #when i'm hungry or otherwise want things. even when i'm starving. or perhaps especially so.#it's been a Journey and a Task and also still severely ongoing #(the trick i've found is to channel the impulses towards the least bad option(s) rather than deny them)#(denying things from myself my nemesis)#but. having to make sensible grocery choices with a full stomach is like. no. please. my body needs rest. get me out of here #no food will ever be required again yes but more importantly i need to lie down why are you demanding mental labour of me #and so we grab whatever the fuck we lay eyes on to get the hell out of there lmao #in general though i do love grocery stores and grocery shopping (and making impulse buys) (and spending money) (and-)
