Hi all, I’m Tripps5.0 – thanks for dropping by my virtual garage!

On this page, I’ll be documenting my ongoing journey to reclaim my old '89 Mustang 5.0L and get it back where it belongs – in my hands and on the road.

This will be a real-life, first-person account, chronicling my pursuit of a dream that meant the world to me back in the day, and still does today.

As a young man, I longed to buy this car for over a year as I saved up for it. Once the keys were in my hand, though, it became an integral part of my youth and my transition into adulthood, allowing me to experience the world on my own terms.
