PLAZA SALCEDO (DANCING FOUNTAIN)
End your eventful city tour with a visual and musical spectacular presented by Vigan's Dancing Fountain after a long day of reveling in the city's rich past and viewing its numerous historic attractions. The fountain, which is located in Plaza Salcedo, puts on a performance every night, attracting both tourists and residents.
The Dancing Fountain, as its name suggests, features a spectacular show of lights and water that is complemented by both traditional and contemporary music. The 30-minute spectacle will feature towering pillars of water dancing to the music, as well as spectacular light displays.
While the Dancing Fountain is frequently the final destination on a full-day tour, there are several other attractions nearby if you want to get the most out of your visit. Vigan Cathedral and its bell tower, which overlooks the fountain, provide a captivating setting for the play. The fountain is surrounded by a variety of government and private structures, all of which showcase Vigan's particular architectural beauty.
Every night from 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the Dancing Fountain puts on a show. It has a second show on weekends from 8:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Make sure to include this sight in your Ilocos Sur travel plans!

Module 3 REFLECTION
All media messages are manufactured, as this module emphasizes. As a result, the first step to fully recognizing the constructedness of media and information messages is to deconstruct them by carefully analyzing and dismantling them so that their components can be seen.
Deconstructing a media message can reveal how the producer put the message together using words, images, sounds, design, and other elements. It can also reveal who created the message and who is intended to receive it. It has the potential to reveal the viewpoints, values, and prejudices of media producers. It can also reveal unintentional or hidden meanings.
However, there is no "right" approach to dissect a media message because each of us processes it differently.
Furthermore, this subject highlights that media rules and conventions serve as the foundation for all forms of media. Codes are collections of symbols that, when combined, produce meaning. Symbolic codes, technical codes, and written codes are the three types of media codes. Conventions, on the other hand, are the rules, habits, or generally accepted ways of doing things.
Furthermore, this module integrates the concepts of viewers, producers, and other stakeholders to the concept of media languages. The audience is the one who consumes the media message, whereas the producers are the ones who create it.Other stakeholders, on the other hand, could include libraries, archives, museums, the internet, and other sources of pertinent information.

Module 2 REFLECTION
We live in a world where the quality of information we receive largely determines our choices and ensuing actions, including our capacity to enjoy fundamental freedoms and the ability for self-determination and development. Driven by technological improvements in telecommunications, there is also proliferation of media and other information providers through which vast amounts of information and knowledge are accessed and shared by citizens (Karklins, J., UNESCO)
This lesson is a second part for the subject in Media and Information Literacy, which will pave the way towards more meaningful discussions and interactions. This aimed in introducing the concept of Media and Information Literacy to us, as solid ground for college readiness. Basic concepts and terminologies will be presented as we go along the module.
I've learned this week about the evolution of traditional media to new media. This lesson explained how media works in year ago and now this modern generation.
The other one is the types of media and types of Information resources.

People with information and media literacy can demonstrate and make educated decisions as users of information and media, as well as become skilled developers and producers of their own information and media messages.
As I studied and evaluated the curriculum, I understood how critical it is to be media and information literate. Our lives are changing as a result of technology and random information, making it very easy for us to be duped. However, thanks to ever-evolving technology, our demands are becoming more accessible. And, despite the fact that it keeps us apart from our loved ones, it immerses us in a separate world where we may interact with, share, and learn from those we meet online. Also, I learnt that everything should be double-checked, especially when information comes from the internet; this is for security reasons.
