An appreciation post to "kuya/manong" who did show me that somewhat every man is courteous.
I entered into a jeepney (Rotonda-Marikina) route whereas there's no UV who passes through that place, anyway that's my easiest way in going home from our office. So here it goes, i am uncomfortably sitting inside the vehicle then someone approaches his friend (manong) and he seated on him saying this non verbatim:
Kuya: "kandungin mo na ako nahihirapan 'yung babae e"
Me: hala, ok lang po.
k: hindi, upo ka na ng maayos.
m: salamat kuya
kuya2: ang bigat mo nangangalay ako
k: (nahihirapan na siya oh, okay lang tayo mahirapan wag lang babae) assuming that word na "babae" is in general.
maya-maya...
kuya: nangangalay ka na ba? (referring to his friend)
k2: hindi pa, okay lang.
k: nangangalay ka na, tara na baba na tayo.
(gusto ko sanang mag-thank you uli kasi sobrang hirap talaga ako sa pag-upo kaso ang bilis nilang nakababa)
May God bless you and your daughters kuya, if you have one! Just want to share this experience to clarify that there's still someone na hindi lang catcalling ang alam but also to respect us, girls. (it doesn't matter/ it has nothing to do kung ano pa mang klase ng suot mo)
