Yeah. I have mixed feelings on generative imagery, but DA's approach has invalidated their platform as a serious gallery space and undermines the legitimacy of every artist it hosts. I feel it's now actively damaging to one's reputation as an artist to have your stuff on there.

I'd recommend everyone take their work off it, but that's a professional decision you gotta make on your own.

Per my post about how long it would take to get to Carson City on foot from GAIA Prime (9-ish days of continuous walking,) if we discard the entire point of that post (Travis and Elisabet knew each other before Project Zero Dawn and he totally taught her to hotwire a car) consider this;

This is from Elisabet’s journal on 1-15-2066. Ronson’s log about her sacrifice states that it’s six hours after GPrime has been locked down and sealed.

Let’s take the longest timescale possible; say she made this entry at 11:45 PM, and they finished locking down exactly 72 hours later, with Elisabet sealing the door and bidding the Alphas farewell.

That means she left the facility on 1/18, and say it took about 12 days to get home, walking and taking occasional breaks to rest, because I’m betting after “driving herself to physical and psychological exhaustion working on GAIA’s development,” she’s not in the proper shape for a sustained journey like this.

That would put her arrival at Carson on like… 1/30-1/31.

If you want to stretch it an additional few days, saying that 14 is a nice round number for a fully loaded suit to be able to sustain human life for, then the entire Zero Dawn Alpha Team could very well have suffocated on the same day, miles apart.

GONNA EXPAND ON THIS BECAUSE I LOVE THIS IDEA!!!

So basically this is just an idea of how i'd make a DLC about the RE8 lords cuz lets be honest THEY DESERVED ONE. So in my concept, instead of playing as the lords you'd play as one of the people in their lives (whether significant or insignificant) and experience the lords in a different perspective. Some are actual characters in the RE8 lore based off of the files, and some are just ocs i made

thoughts on shogun? (the 2024 series and/or the book)

I like both very much, with the caveat that James Clavell was a dyed-in-the-wool Orientalist and so are his books. Granted, it’s from a position of admiration and fascination, and I think there’s something admirable about the fact that someone with his experiences didn’t come away from them with a deep racial animus, but he had some pretty strong opinions about the inherent cultural characteristics of The West and The East that don’t always come from a healthy place or end up there either.
