Here's the converted Heroquest goblin, finally painted

Found this guy at the flea market a couple of years ago and wanted to practice sculpting some more. The tabard didn't come out that great but I think I can save it with paint. The head is from the old multipart kit. Those are some of the best gobbo heads IMO, though they are a bit oversized. The blade is from the current night goblin kit, but I reshaped it with sprue goo and sanding.

Painted up this necromancer from the latest Scibor kickstarter. While I love much of the official Warhammer stuff, I want to start showing off more non-GW minis. There are a lot of small companies making great stuff that doesn’t get enough attention.

Here are the first and last 28mm(ish) models I painted, which also happen to be my only two dwarfs. The left is an old Citadel sculpt with a middlehammer shield while the right one is a new sculpt by Old Realm Forge.

These were my best goblins, so I went with them for the Unit category at MPO Online 2024. Painted the eyes for the comp, which is new for me with eyes this small, and they scored Silver in the standard level. Pretty proud!

I know some of you are probably tired of seeing this one by now, but I have to celebrate: I won Gold in the Standard Level at MPO Online 2024! This is huge for me, especially since I also tried last year but didn't get anything.

Happy Orktober everybody! I rebased this 2023 guy on a square and repainted most of the surfaces. I'm very happy with how much I was able to improve him.
