A touching story and I hope you spend some time now considering those captive and abused animals that brought you such joy. I don't blame kids for not knowing any better, but consider how awful your life was with no friends and think of the animals held in tiny tanks and abused daily for your entertainment. They don't have their natural pod or freedom. They are imprisoned far from what should have been their homes. They don't get to experience the joy you felt that day of bonding with strangers and feeling less alone in the world.
(Even if you did not go to an animal show, you support the park by talking positively about it like this. Please reconsider this in future. There is no need to name drop the park, especially if your story is about a rollercoaster.)
I'm glad some teenagers were nice to you as a kid and it changed your day, week, life. Now it's time to pay it forward.
I know people on tunglr will get mad at me for "derailing" this positivity post, but if your kindness doesn't extend to non-human animals too, it's not true kindness. It's merely transactional.
And unnecessarily promoting a multimillion dollar company that abuses animals daily is not perpetuating kindness.
is the world really such a terrible place? yesterday i asked if oat milk was extra and the barista said yes so i said ok just regular milk then and when she gave me my chai latte she whispered “i used oat milk ;)” doesnt that make u want to live another day?

Thank you. I did understand that part of the post. I am just not clear on what the "propaganda" is? Like everyone here is insisting that the US/Israel attack on Iran isn't really about nukes but those governments are saying it is all about nukes.
I just want to know why it's propaganda. My gut says it is propo too but people irl throw all sorts of facts about Iran's nuclear treaty noncompliance and i have no facts to throw back that the nuclear argument is bullshit. All I have are online conspiracy theories. It makes me look uninformed and snotty.
OP's post doesn't make real sense unless you accept the premise that the nuclear issue is us/Israeli propaganda. The first part is "people are dumb for believing this gov't propaganda about nuclear weapons!!" Which implies this attack is not about nuclear weapons at all and also then their fear response is hypocritical and unjustified bc there is no Iranian nuclear threat.
So... if that nukes threat is gov't propo, what IS the real reason the US attacked Iran?
You can't claim its baseless propo without giving evidence about the real reasons. I want someone somewhere to give something valid bc I don't know enough about the region and ME politics myself to know why my gut says this is all a distraction operation for something else. I don't know what that something else is!
Americans: God. It's so embrasing how many of my fellow Americans are eager to believe obvious propaganda and lies about Iran having nuclear weapons and being a credible threat to America. Some Iraq 2.0 style stuff.
The American military: *Does American things Americanly*
Somehow the same Americans: I'm going to die tonight in a nuclear blast. My suburb in Ohio will be the primary target. My only consolation is knowing that I won't live to suffer the horrors that will follow.
