HERE’S THE LATEST FROM MY DESK
I call that top one, Pucker Up Beach (it was actually inspired by a time I tried to do this exact thing with some micro shells for a pic, and the result was nothing short of hilarious). Favorite part about cleaning my office = getting distracted and spreading out a bunch of paintings. I really need to stop hoarding them all and selling some originals. But in the meantime, I shall keep on making a colorful mess.

LESSONS LEARNED FROM SHELLING:
• Treasures come in all shapes and sizes
• Broken is still beautiful
• It’s not always about the big ones
• The search can be therapeutic
• Storms bring out and stir up lots of gorgeousness
• Nature always has the best inspiration
• Things might look the same, but each has its own story
• Sometimes it’s all a matter of being at the right place at the right tide

One of my hibiscus just bloomed for the first time yesterday. And well, when I looked at it up close and personal, turns out it looks like some perfect pastel watercolor. Whoah.

One of the perks of painting a scenic, or landscape, or whatever it’s officially called, is it’s easy to imagine you’re there while painting it. So, if you see me painting more scenics, you know why.
Love this one. And love me some lefts.

In case anyone doesn’t get flowers today, here’s some I painted. They might not smell great, but they still are pretty even when you forget to water them.
Happy Valentine’s Day. Spread some love. Everyone needs some.

Right place. Right tide. Jackpot.
Levi even helped me find some of these. Which made my salty heart melt quite a bit.
Cheers to the little things. Shells always included.
Bracelets from Pearl. Love.
