Conserve and Preserve our very own Environment

One of the greatest community problems that we are facing now is environmental contamination. It is simply pollution. We’ve learned in our earth science subject that our Mother earth has 4 subsystems namely atmosphere, biosphere, lithosphere, and hydrosphere. But because of a lack of self-discipline and knowledge we just throw our dirt anywhere. Garbage and litters are present everyday almost everywhere because of us.

The atmosphere is polluted because of smoke and burning in our houses. Hydrosphere is tainted with oil spills and toxic chemical leakage by different ships. The lithosphere is befouled by our plastics and lastly, the biosphere is destroyed because we overuse it.

But the great thing is it’s not yet too late, we’re still alive and we must maximize our time. Segregate plastics, plant trees, conserve water and as much as possible let us goal for a cleaner and greener environment. Let’ us take action and remove every hindrance that causes us to pollute and kill our God-given planet. As one, let’s unite to preserve and conserve our very own environment.

10-Aurum Familia, thanks for the memories! I am grateful to have every single one of you. Reflecting from our past memories and experiences together made me realize that another milestone of my life has been achieved. As an appreciation for everyone, here’s a message for all:

BOYS;

Joshua Andal, keep copying every single detail on the board, thanks for the clean and almost complete notes. Remain humble, keep your perfectionist attitude, and most of all retain improving your dancing skills.

CJ Andrade, sorry for stressing you out in our Science Investigatory Project. Keep influencing young leaders to give their best in everything, continue with your writing abilities, and as much as possible enjoy life and keep your temper chilled.

Andrew Antonio, remain a meek person. What I appreciate in you is your habit of always taking the chance of giving back the praise to God, despite the dozens of achievements. Whenever I check your Periodic Test Papers, after the last no. writes: “TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!” Thanks for tutoring and assisting in the lessons we don’t understand, may you continue in giving your best for God!

Kenneth Bacud, thanks for the funny memories. Keep on directing and editing videos, films and short films. Whenever you need my help concerning installation of Editing Software, just approach me.

Ronnie Ballad, stay humble and kind. Remain the social and approachable student that you are, retain the good attitude and responsible character.

Laurence Castillo, remain a “BIBO KID.” I will always keep the jokes and funny moments you shared with us. I am grateful for having you. Stay clever and immovable.

Freidrich Cusipag, study harder and learn more about everything. Maybe you can be the next Filipino Scientist, we just don’t know. Keep memorizing facts and trivia. Don’t forget about improving in Basketball. You’re so intelligent, thanks for the inspiration!

Karlos Dayrit, stay silent and quiet. Start valuing time in the sense of redeeming it, for you’ve wasted enough on computer games. Study even more, you’re so potential, maximize it.

Aaron Dela Cuesta, keep improving your piano skills, we might just include you as an official instrumentalist in the Band. Keep up the hard work, I do appreciate it a lot. Stop being false sometimes, start being true every time.

Daryll Diaz, remain considerate and forgiving. Stay the basketball player and the social student that you are. I value your improvement in being punctual, keep up!

Harvey Herbert, what I like the most in you is your artistic character. Your life is full of light and dark colors, keep up your happy attitude and strive harder. Grow deeper in writing and most of all, remember God always and stay intact with Him.

Ryan Maguddayao, you’ve really balanced your life from studies to emotions. Remain wise and logical. Just like my message for Karlos, maximize your talents and skills. It’s better to use and consume everything the Lord has given, instead of wasting it and spending more time on the minorities.

Emil Malana, sustain the happy and funny character. Always keep your eyes glad, for there are many times that even though you approach with the right tone and with the right words, your eyes enrages me. I remember what happened last time, I’m sorry for that. Remain approachable and friendly!

Jonard Malillin, keep playing volleyball and improving your voice. Remain enduring and persisting!

John Roe Matammu, let God motivate you more and teach you many things that you don’t know about Him. Keep writing and striving harder. Fight the Good Fight of Faith!

Genius Gamer

He became my classmate since 2010 when I was promoted to the SPED section when we were in grade 3, so all in all, we're already classmates for the past 7 years. He’s a shy boy, the gentle, meek and silent classmate we have that turn out to be the bright, confident and the gamer we didn’t expect he would become.

When we were in elementary, he became best friends with CJ Andrade. They are opposite sides of a peso coin, both are intelligent boys, but he is more humble and silent while CJ is more of a social and confident kid. Being their classmate, I also joined groups and activities he was in. First is in Rondalla, where a group of octavina, banduria, and guitar players perform Christmas and ethnic songs in Capitol and in special programs. Lastly like him, I involved in journalism. He was the best Sports’ writer in school who made it to the National Schools Press Conference. Sir Santy who is also our English teacher when we were in grade 6 was the best Journalism Teacher, who came to be his coach, so there’s no doubt he reached the nationals. He graduated as our 4th place in class.

When high school came, because of video games and wrong priorities, his own performance and productivity decreased. Like I said, though he became more confident, we didn’t expect that he would become what he is now. Early days of middle school he and Ram Maguddayao became best friends. Ram is like CJ, but a little better. Their friendship became deeper and deeper because of many similarities and goals. To Karlos Dayrit, you have been a good friend. Keep up the strong bond you have with Ram Maguddayao. There are many adversaries and challenges in life, but you yourself can overcome it. Love is the key, when you love something you do, you can be more productive than you can think of. My friend, start loving and enjoying your studies again. Be the productive and successful student you once were, it’s not too late, strive harder, organize your priorities and do everything for God’s glory. Godspeed Bro!

Balanced Diet

It’s already January 21, 2018, periodic examinations are done and this is the right time to plunder and answer the Question- “What are you looking forward to, this 2018?”

A single question that made me type everything that follows:

Having foresight and a futuristic mind makes you ahead of the others, in other words planning and working ahead of time lightens up stress and at the same time strengthens one’s discipline and self-control. 2k17- the past year has been a great experience for me, but I still have to level my commitment to important things and priorities. I am aiming to achieve higher standards and goals; to balance my life in all aspects.

Balancing aspects of life is one of the hardest goals in achieving every year, so I’m challenging myself to increase in Knowledge in Physical Activities and Relationship with God and with man.

These year I’m going to strive harder in improving my studies, specifically the subject English. Intellectual is one of the major parts of life, the reason why I need to maximize it, for time will come that teachers will no longer strive in teaching us students for we will work on our own. The NCAE results has arrived and the lowest were- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension. In these I’ve learned that I really need to spend some time in catching up with grammar, literature and the like. Though English is one of my dislike subjects (which is the truth because I’m really weak here), I’ll do my best to love it and improve though it’s hard. I want to cope up with others, yes, I am a lay-out artist and an editor the reason why I really need to improve in this subject.

Next up is reclaiming sports and raise musical skills. Being a student in the science section took a lot of my time and my focus in improving this part of my life. I will give more of my time in getting my body fit and learning higher grade lessons in playing the guitar. These physical aspects makes my body stronger and more relaxed in finding time to do these two. I want to find the right sport though I’ve been swimming for quite some time, I want to learn a sport wherein I don’t need to spend money just by exercising. In the musical aspect I need to improve my skills not only in playing the guitar, I also want to learn dancing for it’s a kind of exercise where I don’t need to pressure my body, I just need to relax it through the music and dance with the flow.            

Then, increase my ICT abilities. This summer break which is four months, I’m going to practice in editing images, creating videos and of course programming. Being an IT is a dream of mine, so even now I want to enjoy and learn more about computer softwares and even hardwares.  

Fourth is increase socialization with others, being a human being I need to exercise my social life by communicating and building friendships with kinds of people. I want to learn about every kind of person, and accept them the way they are. Actually, I am challenging myself to appreciate and create friendships with drug addicts, gangsters and other people that our society hates. They need to feel the love that they don’t feel, they need to be accepted, and it takes trust to let them know that someone cares for them, in this way they will change their ways. Trust, we need to trust them and care for them, if they change, society will level up and we will achieve peace and prosperity. The major problem with us people is we really lack trust, it’s like we want them to change but we are not letting them know because we are doubting that they are going to change their ways. Let’s really stop doubting and start trusting.

And of course, last but not the least is improve my Spiritual Life. This is the base of all the aspects if I want to improve and balance my life, I really need to grow deeper in the Lord. Someday the time will come where, Jesus will come down and take us to Heaven and being a Christian I’m going to do my duty in maximizing my time in sharing the gospel. The clock is ticking I don’t know if after typing this I’m still alive. I don’t know if I’m going to survive this year. It’s best to spend time with God most and care for disciples and lost sheep. The greatest joy for me is to mold disciples and increase their knowledge about God, in this way they will also disciple others and tell them the miraculous things the Lord has done in their life, the process will continue and blessing will be pour out on multitudes.

           Life is full of milestones, having discipline, self-control, time-management, self-management, trust and guidance from God are the ways we need to achieve success and balance the aspects of life itself. 2k18 is full of surprises and challenges. Let’s maximize time and live our life to the fullest. Let not stress and pressure bring us down but let the presence and Love of God always push us to our limits.

Jesus Christ- the one Character that we must always put in our Hearts

Christmas most people just celebrate it as a holiday and as a fun-filled time with family and friends. But what is its true essence?

Thousands of years ago, we all know as it is written in the bible, A baby was born in Bethlehem, this is to fulfill the word of God through Isaiah. His name was Jesus. He healed the sick, He made the lame walk, He was the one and only Son of God that made miracles happen.

He made the world upside down. Sharing God's words to unbelievers is difficult but He showed us that it is not impossible. He planted seeds in thousands of disciples that followed Him and helped them turn to God once more. God's sovereign will is so sufficient that Unconditional Love was given by Christ Himself. After 33 years of living He died and was crucified on the cross to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

 …

 His life didn't end there. When the third day dawned He rose again. Such an event that Science can't explain since, Spiritual Events cannot be boxed by Science.

 He became our Friend, He redeemed us and Save us. Redeemer, Savior, Friend that's our Lord Jesus Christ. Without Him we will be nothing. He showed us that we need to come and follow Him whatever things may happen in our lives.

What a Storge act Christ showed. He is the one character that will give purpose to this life. He is the one that will continue to replenish me, fill me and encourage me to continue life. May we value Christmas completely. Christ saved us through His death on the cross, as His sons and daughters let's do our best to live out our live for Him. Without Jesus, there's no salvation and there's no purpose living out this life. Remember our Lord always, Jesus is the one character that we should always put in our hearts.

ASEAN Summit 2017

This Year we had the opportunity to sponsor the events place for ASEAN Summit. Ten leaders of various countries from the ASEAN Member States (specifically Australia, China, India, Japan, New Zealand, Republic of Korea (ROK), Russia, United States (US), Canada, European Union (EU), and the United Nations Secretary General) gathered in Manila for the 31tst ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, that was last 10-14 of November 2017.

This meeting was held in relation to economic, political, security and socio-cultural development of Southeast Asian countries. In addition, it serves as a prominent regional (Asia) and international (worldwide) conference, with world leaders attending its related summits and meetings to discuss about various problems and global issues, strengthening cooperation, and making decisions.

“Partnering for Change, Engaging the World,” was this year’s theme. We Filipinos benefit in migrant rights, these agreement expects to benefit 200,000 Filipino migrant workers across the South-East of Asia. Filipino workers had a better scale of protection and their family can visit them in that specific country if they were accused of crimes, reinforces workers' rights to join trade unions and associations, prohibits passport confiscation and overcharging of recruitment fees. Migrant rights also gives respect for gender and nationality.

This meeting also discussed the rebuilding of Marawi. Some leaders committed over a billion just to help Mindanaons rebuild their homes and houses. In assistance to help strengthen the country's maritime surveillance capability, Japan vowed to provide ₱6.7 billion. The beginning of negotiations for a code of conduct on South China Sea was announced by ASEAN and China. These were some of the main points discussed in the summit.

May we be thankful of the benefits we Filipinos gained in this summit. Let’s pray for the growth of our country, and let’s do our best to help our President in the seemingly little things.

Sexual Purity!

               Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.-Apostle Paul 

                When one talks about the word “sex” dirty and filthy images flash in their minds, not seeing the fact that there is a purpose why reproduction exists in this earth. HIV, AIDS, STD’s are diseases that are concern with intercourse. This diseases was born and generated because of adultery and fornication.

               According to the bible sex actually is holy. It was a gift given by the Lord to Male and Female only, God created Adam (man) for Eve (woman) for them to rule over the earth and subdue it. God didn’t created Adam for Steve, nor Madam for Eve, He created both male and female according to His likeness. We need to understand that we have God’s image in us, the Lord created us fearfully and wonderfully, we should not question Him why we have the specific gender in us. All things work together for good.

               Before entering holy sexual intercourse, we need to do our best to remain in Him. There are steps in life, Learning, Earning, Yearning, and Marriage; sex is only to be done in the marriage bed. God will bless the couple if, they did this in His perfect time.

               Fornication is one of the greatest sins of man and woman because they overtake God’s plan for them. They start with puppy love then after that teenage pregnancy and ended up with early marriage. Self-control is the right word to resist the lust of the flesh to have sex with someone in an early age. Being young people we need to remember that we are in either the learning or earning stage, the Lord has a perfect partner for each of us, we just need to wait on the Lord and He will provide.

               Adultery is another sin that is done not by young people but by married couples. They try to find another person that will satisfy their craving. To married people they need to remain in their husband and wives, they need to be contented, for their other half is the Lord’s gift for them.

                          By waiting and spending time with the Lord we can avoid having STD’s and we need to do our best to make our body, soul, and spirit holy and ready for the perfect time. Let God show us the way to be pure.  Men and women stay in the Lord, obey His will, and have sex only, with God’s blessing in the perfect time.

IN HIS STEPS: What would Jesus do?

               In His Steps a book by Charles M. Sheldon is one of the novels that caught my heart. Reading this book made me realize my purpose in life and my duty being one of the servant leaders of the Lord, before I’m about to do something that’s difficult to be decided on, I will always ask “What would Jesus do?”

               In this Novel, events  have taken place in the railroad town of Raymond, and Chicago Illinois. Rev. Henry Maxwell, pastor of the First Church of Raymond, challenges his congregation to not do anything for a whole year without first asking: “What Would Jesus Do?” his members include Ed Norman, senior editor of the Raymond Daily Newspaper, Rachel Winslow, a talented singer, and Virginia Page, a heiress, to name a few.

               The story began with Henry Maxwell doing his sermon for the upcoming service on Sunday, after a few minutes of quiet and meditation, a tramp (later known as Jack Manning) knocks at his front door. The latter listen to the man’s plea briefly before brushing Him away and closing the door. What the trump did on the latter’s house was also done after the Sunday sermon. Manning confronted the congregation —“I’m not complaining; just stating facts.”—about their compassion, or apathetic lack thereof, for the jobless like him in Raymond. Upon finishing his address to the congregation, he collapses, and dies a few days later.  

               That next Sunday, Maxwell, presented a challenge to his congregation: “In everything you do first ask yourself , ‘What would Jesus do?’ before doing that something”. Key Christian leaders of the First Church accepted the challenge and they eventually see their lives being transformed by it. The leaders led by their Pastor did their best to walk in Jesus’ steps, they give up the things that Jesus won’t accept and remain in God’s words for direction.

                 This novel made me realize that I need to surrender to God everything that disowns Him and remember Him always before doing anything. Like Rev. Maxwell I was challenge to commit in leading the youth servant leaders to fully meditate and briefly understand “what would Jesus do if He were in our places?” before doing anything. I encourage you fellow Christians to read this book to open your eyes that Jesus should be the center of our every movement. Let Jesus move and change our live by following Him step by step in His steps­­.

CARS 3

Don’t fear failure. Be afraid of not having the chance; you have the chance!-Cruz Ramirez

Cars 3 a 2017 movie directed by Brian Fee is one of the saddest but exciting movies that I have watched this year. I enjoyed the movie a lot for it showed me that I will never be young and that I will lead others for them to also reach their potentials.

In this movie a generation of new young racers where born, that the oldies where forced to retire or if not they were fired by their sponsors to hire the new racers. Lightning Mcqueen can't beat the fastest new generation speedster Jackson Storm that he crashed in the first part of the movie because his engine overheated.

After the crash many cars already retired that even Rusty and Dusty Lightning's Sponsors were discharge and sold their stuff to Sterling a rich guy that would take care of Lightning. In the company a trainer named Cruz Ramirez help Lightning increase and level up his speed. The two joined adventures together in a junkyard then continue to Smokey the mentor of Doc Hudson the old trainor of Lightning. There Lightning and Cruz continued their training where Lightning was thought to outsmart Jackson Storm. The only problem is though the two were smarter, Lightning is just as good as junk for he's still slower than Storm.

In the track Lightning did his best but when he realized that Cruz is the key in beating storm, he encouraged her to enter the track wearing the same no. 95 as Lightning does. And of course since Cruz is also a youngster there's a higher possibility that she can beat Storm that Lightning. In the end both Lightning Mcqueen and Cruz Ramirez won. Cruz became the trainee were Lightning became the trainor. Time sure flies.

This movie made me realize that I need to maximize my time and service for the Lord leading other servant leaders the way I am being led by God himself. Mentoring and Leading new generation is the main idea in this movie, though it's hard to accept that there are better younger ones than us we need to do our best to equip them and lead them, just as Lightning did with Cruz. I invite you to watch this movie and may you also realize that we will not remain as we are today,we need to lead young ones that will also lead other younger generations as well.­­

Software, not that soft, just virtual, but very helpful!

All information processed by computer, systems, and programs- that is software. Documents, powerpoints edited videos and pictures are some of the examples of software we used in everyday lives.

           Technology is upgrading so fast that in the past we used keypad phones now we use touch-screen mobile phones. Like hardware, software is also upgrading, in the past few people use apps like facebook and google chrome but today, millions use it to connect and to find information they need for school, for work or one can open up his Google app to search for movies or games he wishes to play on that specific device.

           Editing apps on mobile and on our computers are a big help for us. Photoshop, Picsart and Illustrator are apps that beginners and professionals use to remove acne, pimples; they are also use in adjusting contrast or brightness of one specific image. On the other hand Cyberlink, After Effects, Sony Vegas Pro and Filmora are applications one can use to edit videos, audios of the videos, they can also adjust the volume, add simple or professional effects and put text on that specific video.

           As a future Information Technologist I am happy that our technology is rapidly growing. I wish to maximize the use of computer software or even mobile ones to create and modify pictures, videos or even program computer systems for the benefit of technology consumers.

Fulfilled Prophecy (All about the Future)

                It’s November 1, 2027, 3 days before my Birthday! At this point in time, me and my girlfriend will celebrate our 6th monthsary, hoping to be married next year. I started my day reading my bible and doing my daily devotions then I began to open my Gaming Laptop to check if there are notifications from work friends or family, I’m not fund of games and other stuff, but being an Information Technologist I need a computer with high specifications. So I opened my facebook account, and while checking out my newsfeed I saw one of our teacher’s post saying “Congratulations 10-Au Batch 2017-2018  It has been 10 years” she said , then the next line in the post was “I MISS YOU ALL, START REFLECTING”. What came in my mind when I read it was the BLOG I’ve created ten years back and while I reflect and read my first BLOG. It was just like a dream before that happened through the years.

                I am now an I.T. specialist who graduated with honors and is now working, but in this new work of mine I take control of my time because God told me to back out from my previous work at Accenture in order to continue leading 1,740 servant leaders of Christ. This big no. was given to me by the Lord because ten years back I always keep in mind what Ps. Bert Pretorius thought in the G12 National Conference: "Challenges and Trials are difficult, but they are not impossible to overcome." In this Spiritual part of my life, I did my best to pastor these flock that the Lord provided. He spoke to them and God let me translate every part of His word to nourish their spiritual bodies. These leaders will also handle other servant leaders, for God will multiply His followers.

Second is that, Yes! I've created many friendships that last longer that I can ever imagined. Social Life with man is  also a piece in my life that these years have developed, by these friendships many where highlighted by God where they become a part of the group of disciples, He entrusted me. These friendships will not only last here on earth but also in Heaven, glorifying God there with praises and singing. The Lord's will had been done in my life and God is continuously moving I saw the wonderful miracles He had done throughout this timeline.

               After several minutes of reading and reflecting I’ve received a message from the Vice President of our 10-Au batch saying- “Pres. let’s have a reunion”. I replied “OK”, I knew they also remembered their own BLOGS. We scheduled the reunion right away on the date of our Christmas Party on the year 2017. Truly Cagayan National High School has been vitally important, because it has been a part of me that brought me to where I am now... This school brought me challenges and trials to treck and to climb, with the help of God, parents, leaders, and friends, I finished Junior High School and continued in pushing my limits to gain my maximum potentials. Yes, life is difficult, but it is never impossible to gain success in it. I'll always keep CNHS in my heart and by God's grace I will face the future with success and victory. To my teacher in English I thanked her via Messenger I told her “Ma’am Yap thank you very much for the memories and the idea to create the individual BLOGS, you’ll always remain in our hearts.”
