An exclusive Dr. Phil interview with Gypsy Rose Blancharde, who is currently serving ten years in prison for plotting the murder of her mother. Her mother, Dee Dee Blancharde, was thought to have Munchausen syndrome by proxy, a mental illness in which caregivers induce or exaggerate illnesses in children, typically their own, in order to garner sympathy and money. Ever since Gypsy was a child, she was forced to use a wheelchair and feign physical and mental disabilities, as well as several other health conditions, such as leukemia, up until she was 23.

The Kidnapping Of Alicia Kozakiewicz
Introduction
One of the worst things imagineable for a parent is that their child disappear from their home without a trace. This horrifying scenario came true for Alicia Kozakiewicz parents, but fortunately this story has a happy ending.
The kidnapping
Alicia spent many hours online, like many other teenagers do. She often played games and talked to friends online, but she also talked to strangers. Alicia got to know a boy in 2001, and he seemed like the perfect friend; he liked all the things Alicia was interested in, and he was a comforting shoulder to cry on. She was only 13 at the time, and the boy told her that he was around the same age. Alicia trusted her new online friend and she felt excited when he suggested that they should meet in person. The date they decided on was January 1st 2002, and they decided to meet up nearby Alicia’s home. Alicia snuck out, and walked to the location. She waited for a while, and suddenly a car drove up beside her. It did not take long for the driver to drag her into his car, and it turned out that the boy Alicia had talked to was 38 year old Scott Tyree. Her kidnapper drove the car all the way to his home in Virginia, which was a 5 hour drive. Tyree then brought his victim down in his basement and removed her clothing. He told the scared 13-year old that she was allowed to cry, since she was going to go through a lot. Alicia was put in chains and when then repeatedly raped by her captor. Alicia fought back, but was beaten and tortured as a result. Tyree even broadcasted the rape and abuse online in a livestream, where other people could watch. After four days in captivity, Tyree told Alicia that he started to like her too much, which made Alicia realize that his intention was to kill her the same day. Fortunately, law enforcement recieved a anonymous tip about Alicia’s whereabouts. Police stormed the house, where they found Alicia naked and chained to the floor. Tyree, who was at work when police found his victim, was soon arrested.
Trial and aftermath
Scott Tyree was sentenced to 19 years and seven months in prison. He was released in early 2019, but he was sent back to prison in later the same year after violating his parole.
Alicia suffered PTSD and memory loss after the kidnapping, and spent time in therapy. At age 14, she started ’’The Alicia Project’’, which purpose is to educate families and children about the dangers of meeting strangers. According to her website, ’’Alicia astounds communities, corporations, law enforcement, as well as social and governmental agencies. Alicia has been honored to present at corporations such as JPMorgan Chase Bank, FedEx, Mayo Clinic, Caterpillar, RSA, Australia Information Security Association, among others, providing both employee motivation and awareness.  She has traveled to Canada and Australia to share her story and inspirational message, and is looking to forward to future international presentations’’.

On September 7, 1996, 29-year-old Leonard Jefferson went to Las Vegas to see a Mike Tyson fight, but he never ended up seeing him He did spot Tupac Shakur at an intersection just off the Strip and promptly snapped a photo of him, not knowing that this would be the last photograph ever taken of the legendary rap star while he was still alive. It wasn’t long after this that Tupac was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting when his car stopped at a red light at East Flamingo Road and Koval Lane. The gunman had shot him twice in the arm, once in the chest, and once in the thigh. He was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately died of his injuries six days later. The rapper’s killer was never caught, although gangster Orlando Anderson has always remained a huge suspect, even though he died in 1998. Two decades after his murder, Tupac remains the most iconic symbol in rap history.

Christmas was soon to be coming, and everyone was excited, especially the children. Unfortunately, one child could not celebrate Christmas in 1988, as she was found deceased inside of a suitcase in Waycross, Georgia in a wooded area. 30 years later, the identity of the girl who became known as “Christmas Doe” remains unknown.
On December 21,1988, a truck driver discovered the body of a black child who was in a television console. Inside of the console was a metal, cement filled suitcase where Christmas Doe was placed. The trucker called authorities to inform them about his gruesome discovery. According to an autopsy, the child had aged anywhere from 2-4 years old, stood between 2′8″-3′1″ (81-93 cm), weighed 20-27 pounds (9-12 kg), and was a black female. She had been deceased for approximately 1-2 months, and due to this, the autopsy could not reveal the cause of death, though it is considered suspicious. Christmas Doe had curly black hair that was pulled into a ponytail with a brown rubber band and was styled with bows. She was found wearing a white knit shirt with a red pony, white thermal pajama bottoms (both shown above), and a disposable diaper. Christmas Doe also had pierced ears, however, no earrings were found with her remains. She also had slight gaps between her baby teeth.
As of 2018, 2 missing children have been excluded as being Christmas Doe:
Bonita Sanders of New Jersey missing since 1986
Kimberly Boyd of South Carolina missing since 1987
If you have any information regarding the identity of Christmas Doe, please contact the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI)  at 404-244-2600 or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) at 800-THE-LOST (843-5678).

28 year-old Peggy McGuire disappeared on November 16th, 2015. That morning, she dropped her young son off at school in Eufaula, Oklahoma and then was never seen or heard from again. The next morning, in the midst of a violent storm, surveillance footage captured Peggy’s car being driven into the parking lot of T&J’s Ice House, a rural bar located 10 miles away from her home. An unidentified man was captured getting out of the driver’s seat of her car and walking away.
The car was later found abandoned. Peggy’s family members were certain that Peggy hadn’t driven there herself, even before the surveillance footage was discovered. According to Peggy’s mother, Peggy did not drink and had no reason to go to the bar. Additionally, when police searched the home that Peggy shared with her son’s father Thomas Ryan McIntosh, they found blood on the couch on their back porch. They also found bloodstains on a leather glove found in McIntosh’s truck. Despite this, McIntosh was not arrested nor was he named as a suspect in Peggy’s disappearance. Investigators apparently submitted the blood samples for forensic testing, but the results of those tests have yet to be revealed.
Two months after Peggy vanished, her mother sued for visitation rights for her grandson. McIntosh filed for paternity rights and said that he did not want Peggy’s mother to see the child. The documents filed by Peggy’s mother state that she had not seen her grandson since Peggy’s disappearance, and she feared for his safety. Additionally, the documents state that Peggy’s mother believes that her daughter is deceased. Peggy’s son was eventually removed from McIntosh’s custody and put into foster care.
Peggy remains missing today. There is currently a $150,000 reward in place for any information about her whereabouts. If you have any information that could help the investigation, please call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.

Cause of Death: HOMICIDE
When an inmate is executed by the state in America they are issued a death certificate like every other citizen which is signed off by both prison officials and the physician that declares the condemned person deceased.
Every certificate issued to an executed prisoner lists ‘HOMICIDE’ as the cause of death, such as serial killer Ted Bundy’s (pictured, top)

“I made sure he was asleep. I got the bat and I hit him over the head, I hit him once and I heard him moan. I was afraid he might wake up and see us, so I kept hitting him. I hit around 10 times.”
On the night of November 25, 2001 brothers, Alex and Derek King killed their father, Terry King, while he slept. The brothers had evidently conspired to commit the murder after being coerced by Rick Chavis. Rick Chavis was supposedly a friend of Terry’s, but was later discovered to be having a sexual relationship with the younger King brother, Alex. Rick Chavis a known pedophile was accused of enticing the two boys into murdering their father based on his desire to have Alex in a long term relationship. His motive was to get the father out of the picture so he could indulge full fledged into the relationship. Terry King was bludgeoned to death in his home. It was later determined that the brothers killed their father by using an aluminum bat to beat him about the head. Alex and Derek had been born into a family of major controversy. Terry King was living with Janet French. Janet French, the mother of Alex and Derek, also had twins by another man while living with Terry. Terry was taking care of the entire family including the twins. He and French parted ways in 1992. She and the children however, continued to live with and be supported by Terry.
Due to financial problems, Alex and Derek were sent to live with foster parents. Alex for only a few months, and Derek for six years. Janet French with the twins moved out of the home at the same time. Terry’s commitment was to get his financial situation improved and regain custody of his sons. Terry tried to maintain a strict disciplinary environment while his sons were with him. This may have been the reason for his murder. Seven weeks after Derek began to live with his father again, Terry was murdered. It appeared that Derek had a problem with the discipline measures his father used on the two. In addition, they would discuss their concerns with the friend Chavis. Chavis expressed to the boys that they were being mentally abused. The father, Terry, would sometimes stare at the boys. This Chavis told the two was the mental abuse.  The boys, decided based on the continued discipline from the father and the mental abuse as stated by Chavis, to kill their father.

Ever since at least 1976, a woman who only called herself “Seven” has not had a formal identity. During this time, she lived in St. Francis Catholic Worker House in Chicago, Illinois for around 3 decades. In 2003, Seven went into a diabetic shock and was in the state care system ever since. Later, it was revealed that she suffered from dementia. All that she had remembered was that she had been a lifelong Cubs fan and remembered visiting the Indiana Dunes as a child. Her fingerprints were deformed and declared “unreadable”. On November 18, 2015, Seven Doe died, aged anywhere between 71-80 at a nursing home in Chicago, Illinois.
Many theories exist regarding this case. Some question why her fingerprints were deformed, bringing up that people who have deformed fingerprints could be burn victims, born with a deformity, or the person themselves or someone else may have deliberately sanded them off. Others theorize that she may have been transgender, a crossdresser, or a “butch” lesbian based off of the photos shown. Many also critique the way that this case was handled, as there seems to be nearly no coverage on her case and her National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) page has no weight, height, eye color, hair color, or distinctive characteristics entered. Considering the amount of time between when she was first found and when she died, some may find it odd that it’s unknown what her eye or hair color is at the very least. Years after her death, Seven Doe remains unidentified.

Leigh Marine Occhi is an American teenager that disappeared August 27th, 1992 - 6 days after her 13th birthday in Tupelo, Mississippi. She disappeared during Hurricane Andrew, a category 5 storm that had sustained winds of 165mph and killed 65 people.
Leigh was left home alone on August 27th, when her mother left for work at 8:00am. Not long after arriving at work, her mother, Vickie Felton was notified that Hurricane Andrew was on its way to Tupelo. She phoned her caught around 9:00am but there was no answer.  When she didn’t answer, Felton began to worry and drove home to check on her. According to Felton, when she got home the garage door had been open and the light was on. Upon entering the house, Felton noticed blood that was smeared on the wall. She quickly called 911 when she realized her daughter was not in the house. Upon further investigation, police found pools of blood in Occhi’s room and bathroom - leading the police to believe the perpetrator tried to clean up the crime scene.
On September 4th, 1992, Occhi was still missing. However, a worker at McDonald’s reported that they had seen a girl that resembled Leigh Marine Occhi. However, after investigation, it was proved that it was a different child, not Leigh. Occhi’s eye glasses were mailed to her house, mailed to her ex-stepfather. DNA tests were run on the stamps for saliva, but it was proved that the person used water instead. The FBI believed the mailing of the glasses was just a distraction away from the case.
Though in November of 1993, it was reported that pieces of Occhi’s skull fragment was found, it was later retracted. Leigh Marine Occhi is still missing today, 26 years later.

Timothy “Timmy” Wiltsey was a 5 year old boy from South Amboy, New Jersey. During Memorial Day weekend, the evening of Saturday May 25th, 1991, Timmy’s mother, Michelle Lodzinski reported to the police that her son had gone missing from the South Amboy Elks Club carnival. Lodzinski told the police that her son went missing when she left him to wait for a carnival ride so she could go buy a soda around 7:30pm The carnival was immediately put to a stop while the police and search dogs searched the premises to find nothing. 300+ citizens helped in the search for Timmy on the empty carnival grounds and in the nearby woods, even a helicopter flying above head in the search, but Timmy was no where to be found.
Timmy’s father, George Wiltsey was immediately ruled out as a suspect as the father had no contact with his son and lived in another state. It was proved that he was at his home in Iowa when his son went missing. By the end of the month of May, Lodzinski’s story on what happened to Timmy began to crumble and change every time she spoke to police. She had claimed to had been at Holmdel Park the morning before he went missing, but the last place Timmy was seen was in his front yard that same morning by their neighbors. One person at the carnival even testified that she had spoken with Michelle and she infact did not have any child with her.
That’s when Michelle’s story changed to two men with a knife taking Timmy and intimidated her to stay silent about it. However, she also redacted that story later to the police to tell them another. This time it was two men and a women that went by “Ellen” - a go go dancer - that had kidnapped Timmy. But these two men and Ellen were never found or even proved to be real.
In the following October, a school teacher was bird watching when he found a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle sneaker which had been all over the news and highly publicized as being the shoe’s Timmy had one when he had gone missing. The teacher brought it to the police station where Michelle denied it was her sons and the police put it to rest. However, the teacher was not happy about that and went to the newspaper to tell about his findings. Months later, an FBI agent contacted the schoolteacher to bring him to the area. A matching shoe would be found as well as a balloon and a boy’s partial skeletal remains. Through dental records, the boy was confirmed to be Timmy.
On what would have been Timmy’s 29th birthday, August 6th, 2014,  Michelle Lodzinski was arrested in Florida and charged with her son’s murder.
