Trudat Sound & Light is Charlie Knox and Euan McKenzie. We make immersive audiovisual experiences exploring themes of perspective and the relative nature of detail. We draw inspiration from sculptural, natural and architectural sources as well as contemporary club culture and various strains of electronic and electroacoustic musics.
Semispecific is a new iterative, nomadic club experiment that we would like to take on tour. It debuted in Glasgow as part of Cryptic Nights. Please find a review here. Originally conceived for 14 channel ambisonics and multiple screens the technical set up is adaptable. The sounds and imagery will continue to develop but the show centers around ideas of perception, identity and consciousness.
