Quick Reminder :)
Recently I have been seeing people getting hate about (mainly) the following things. So, here is a quick reminder:
-If someone likes Dylann Roof, it does not mean that they are a racist. -If someone likes Richard Ramirez, it does not mean that they are satanic. -If someone likes Eric Harris, it does not mean that they are angry. -If someone likes Dylan Klebold, it does not mean that they are depressed. -If someone is interested in Columbine, it does not mean they are going to shoot up their school. -If someone likes Randy Stair, it does not mean that they are a “wannabe loser”. -If someone likes TJ Lane, it does not mean that they are bitchy.
Let people enjoy themselves and like who they wanna like. Let them be interested in whoever they want. Just because you don’t like/agree with someone doesn’t give you the right to be a pissbitch. Get over yourself. We all have our interests. /I don’t mean to be rude to anyone and this was not intended to call anyone out.\

Conduct Disorder
Children under the age of eighteen cannot be diagnosed with Anti-Social personality disorder, but if that child is displaying anti-social traits, a diagnosis of conduct disorder may help to predict whether they possibility have APD.
Conduct disorder is defined by the DSM-IV as the repetitive and persistent pattern of behavior that violates the basic rights of others. Around two to eight percent of children and adolescents in the United States have been diagnosed with conduct disorder. A diagnosis of CD is a strong predictor of a lifetime of problems ahead of the individual including difficulty in maintaining interpersonal relationships, criminal activity among many others factors. It should be stated that not all of those diagnosed with CD will later be diagnosed with anti-social personality disorder. But it is a great indicator as to who may or may not have APD.
The DSM-IV lists the traits of conduct disorder as bullying, fighting, cruelty to animals, cruelty to people, robbery, forcing sex on others, setting fires, destroying property, breaking and entering, lying, stealing, staying out late before the age of 13, and truancy. If a child displayed three or more of these traits, they fit the diagnosis criteria of having conduct disorder. It is possible that Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold had conduct disorder. The robbed, destroyed property, and both seemingly enjoyed their ability to lie and deceive.

Escaping a Serial Killer
Sandra Gale Ringwald was picked up from Vancouver’s east side by serial killer Robert “Willie” Pickton. Pickton murdered 49 sex workers over the span of two decades. Robert took Sandra back to his farm, which was located thirty minutes from the city. When her back was turned to him, Pickton slapped a handcuff on one of her wrists, but before he would get the other cuff on her, she fought back. She lunged for a knife which sat on top of his dresser and started to stab her attacker, hitting him in the jugular. She then slashed into his face, cutting out some of his jawbone and teeth. She spun around and burst outside of Pickton’s trailer, running through his pig farm. He managed to stumble out after her, and wrestled the knife from away. He sliced straight through her abdomen. By now, Sandra’s attacker was becoming weak from blood loss, and once again she over-powered him, taking back her weapon. She bolted for the road, her intestines hanging halfway out of her body, her hand desperately trying to keep them in place as she ran. Ringwald managed to flag down a car and got inside. As they were driving away, she pointed back to Pickton’s farm and said “If I die, that’s where the guy who did this to me lives.”
Unfortunately, Robert Pickton’s killing spree was not stopped by the victim who survived. When he went to trial for attempted murder, Sandra failed to show up to testify, out of sheer terror that Robert, or his brother David, might once again attack her.

Matthew Shepard was a 21-year-old American student at the University of Wyoming. On the night of October 6, 1998, Matthew met two boys by the names of Aaron McKinney and Russell Henderson at the Fireside Lounge. It was decided that Aaron and Russell would give Matthew a ride home, but instead they drove him to a remote, rural area and began to rob and brutally beat him before tying him to a fence and leaving him for dead. Matthew was discovered 18 hours later, still secured to the fence, in a coma. Matthew’s head injuries were deemed top severe to operate on, and he remained on full life support until his death on October 12. The culprits were apprehended and charged with murder. The murder was widely believed to be a hate crime, as they had admitted to pretending to be gay to gain Matthew’s trust in order to rob him. Aaron claims he killed Matthew in a rage when Matthew made a sexual advance on him. Both were sentenced to two consecutive life terms without parole.

Conditioned to Commit Serial Murder?
What causes the escalation seen in most serial murder cases? The answer may lie in B.F. Skinner’s most important work. In one of his Skinner Box experiments, rats were put in cages and conditioned to pull a lever when they wanted a pellet of food. Their behavior of pulling the lever was reinforced by receiving the tasty treat. This is an example of operant conditioning. What if a criminal could be conditioned like those rats in Skinner’s box? Many times in serial murder cases, there are clear signs of escalation prior to the perpetrator’s first murder. They seem to give themselves little permissions to bend their morals and break the law. When they either feel good or avoid punishment, they can become conditioned to escalate their behavior even further, not stopping until they are apprehended.
Jeffrey Dahmer is a perfect example of this. He started his downward spiral after being propositioned in a library. After this he stole a mannequin from a department store to be his sexual partner, he went to bath houses and drugged hundreds of men. After this, he was arrested several times for exposing himself and masturbating in public, and eventually, he moved back to murder. In his first murder in Milwaukee, he didn’t keep any souvenirs from the victim. But as time went on, he collected their skulls, genitals, and severed heads until they were literally piling up in his apartment. When that ceased to satisfy him, he resorted to cannibalism and experiments to try and turn men into sex slave zombies. Dahmer felt gratification from the results of his murders, which reinforced his behavior. His abhorrent crimes could be explained by B.F. Skinner’s experiments.

The Different Types of Schizophrenia
Schizophrenia is characterized by thoughts which seem out of touch with reality, disorganized speech or behavior, and decreased participation in daily activities. Schizophrenics also experience hallucinations like hearing voices. The DSM-5 outlines the five different subtypes of schizophrenia. They are:
The Disorganized Type: These individuals display unusual emotional responses, incoherence, and disorganization in thought patterns, as well as extreme social withdraw.
Catatonic Type: Severe disturbances in muscular and voluntary movement is common with this type of schizophrenic. Other symptoms include mutism or parrot-like repetition of a word or phrase. Catatonic schizophrenics can also fly into a state of over-agitation, screaming and throwing things.
Paranoid Type: The hallmarks of the paranoid schizophrenic are delusions and hallucinations. This type of schizophrenia is the one which is most frequently correlated with crime.
Undifferentiated Type: People with this type display active psychotic features such as hallucinations, delusions, incoherent speech, or confused, disorganized behavior, but do not meet the specifications of the other types.
Residual Type: These individuals have had at least one schizophrenic episode, and they display blunted emotions or illogical thinking, but no other symptoms.
