Ganpati special! . . . . . . . . . Last week was all about seeking blessings from our favourite God! From childhood I’ve enjoyed the 10 days festivities that brings families and friends together, food and dressing up in traditional attire has always been a huge part of this. This year I decided to take dressing up a notch higher. Inspired by my dear friend @nikaytaa and her initiative @theindiandrapingco, I took the opportunity to try on two new drapes with the 6 yard saree The blue saree is an Irkal draped like a pant and the final look is like a typical 9 yard or better known as the ‘nouwari’, coupled with the ethnic neckpiece and the tied up hair do or the Tibetan bun, it was perfect mixture of comfort, culture and curiosity. The red saree is a Silk Bandhani, draped as a skirt and called the East Champaran drape. All ok! 👌 . What's the most adventurous thing you've done? For me it was #scubadiving in the Andaman. Being a non swimmer I wasn't exactly afraid of water but I had my reservations. The excellent folks @diveindia helped calm my nerves and the rigourous pre training made me understand that for scuba you need to learn to breathe properly. By far the most mystical and memorable life experiences, I remember when I my instructor showed me the "👍" sign, I didn't want to come out of the water. Swimming among the corals, the shoals of silver fish and the little nemos, underwater diving is a truly a spiritual experience. Listening to your own heartbeat and focussing on your breath as you look at the world facing down where there is no sound.
