carrie you’re wrong in this one. idk i mean i think it’s reasonable for aidan to say i don’t want you seeing big now they’ve gotten back together. like you cheated on him he took you back and he’s the sweetest most amazing man she’s ever came across and he’s giving you a second chance and the ONE thing he’s asking of you is to not see that man that you literally cheated on him with and you talking about some “i can’t do that”….? like i get her having her own boundaries and needs but i feel like his ask was more than reasonable and fair in this situation. like if i was her i wouldn’t even want to talk to or see big anymore bc i know that would make my man super uncomfortable like why would i want to throw the guy i cheated with all in his face as we’re trying to build something new…? make it make sense chile.

S4E1 of sex and the city may be my favorite episode so far. I think it’s because i could really relate to carries feeling of wanting a special someone to care about you and do something to make your birthday special. and just the sadness that comes with that lack but/and/also having my best friends as soulmates who truly do make it so that you can simply enjoy when/if those men come along. it was a beautifully written episode and carrie was actinggg
