I’m still on day shift so yous get some more minicomics, since they’re fun to do and aren’t taxing on my mush brain (god I can’t WAIT to be back on nights)

Interestingly I also got some more Angsty asks, so I’ve put them >[here] ! soes you can enjoy some memes without getting whiplash from the tonal shift (these are all from the first lot of [minicomics] I did)

(I did not expect this reaction to the shirt but I LOVE it. I adore each and every tag I’ve gotten, This is my favourite thing) @crackinwise​ Mondo doesn’t know about the shirt, Takaaki hasn’t even seen it; their conflicting sleep schedules and Taka’s obsession with completing all the chores working in his favour. The culprit is Daiya. In a moment of masculine posturing he had a bunch of these t-shirts made up to give to girlfriends, but to date no girlfriend has ever worn one. He gifts them to gang members for secret santa. Taka might believe t-shirts are unprofessional attire, but it’d also rude to refuse a gift, and wasteful to not make use of it.

Taka is a nothing if not theatrical

I take your disney quote, and substitute my own. (incidentally, this is what my brother used to do to our grandmother. He’d wake her up saying ‘The sun is up! that means it’s morning!’ and would refuse to go back to sleep)

Taka holds all the receipts and has a devastatingly thorough understanding of debate techniques. He probably has loads of stories he loves to recount but this particular one he might hold closer to his chest, to use when he needs to play his cards right.

Tumblr has been MISBEHAVIN’ lately. Its fave thing is to not show my posts in the tags, but the new thing it’s done is scrambled my answered asks so they’re incomprehensible so that’s fun times!

Since the day shift has boggled my noggin I’ve been sluggish lately, however I have been amusin’ myself with some mini-comic answers to asks. Thought I might just throw ‘em all here for yous:

I think Taichi inspires the same ‘MUST PROTECT’ instinct in people the same way Chihiro does. No one believes Taichi is there of his own volition, and especially no one believes Takaaki is a police officer.

They’ll never tell. But that’s ‘cos they also have no idea. (honestly tho, I wanted it to be clear they were super close, but ambiguous enough that they audience could choose what they preferred. Perhaps a little cheeky of me but I personally fluctuate day to day between platonic DlLF/MlLF solidarity and romantic yin-yang of delinquent x lawman) If they were dating however:

The love-life of shift workers (feat. how I actually met my future stepdad for the first time)

I think Hiro does show some real promise as big bro material once he finally takes a role of responsibility after the fallout of trail 2 BUT Taka is not known for his flexibility. I think it’ll take a while for Mr. “My worth is tied to my ability to succeed as a student” to warm up to Mr. “I purposely failed high school multiple times to hide from the yakuza” He’ll get there, with a loooot of help from Mondo and Hiro.

It would be an adjustment to say the least.

Taka and Mondo doing couple things while they still think they're just bros, and really confusing their classmates:

-Taka holding up food and snacks for Mondo to eat right off his utensil or fingers, all while never pausing conversation with another friend. A friend who desperately will look between them for acknowledgement that actually happened, but will get none.

-Taka sitting on Mondo's lap without hesitation when everyone is hanging out in a room. Mondo doesn't even blink or notice the stares.

-Mondo passing behind Taka, who's writing a student up in the hall, and brushing his hand across Taka's lower back. Taka doesn't look up from writing; just shouts "Hello, bro!" The student despairs.

-Them talking about usual things with their faces like two inches apart, full eye contact that's barely blinking. Friends have to call their names several times to break the spell. Only Hina is still creeped out by it.

When they do officially become a couple, no one except Kyoko realizes anything is different for a solid month.
