Two people I work with are here from another country and applying for a CT driver’s license. Since the road test will be in my hometown I invited them for a tour of the town so they will become familiar with the landscape and traffic flow.

A woman in the supermarket had no change for a shopping cart so I gave her a quarter.

I work in a hospital lab and one of my co-workers is from the Pacific Islands. Of course there are cultural differences and she was asking me some questions that she needed to discuss with HR. I explained that to her and helped her construct an email to HR that should get her concerns addressed.
