Reminder for Broses going to the concerts:

I was yelled at today in Columbus by another Black Rose for needing special assistance.

As a disabled person, I require accommodations when I attend events like this so that I can keep myself safe and unhurt. I do all of this work beforehand so that I am prepared and don't inconvenience people at venues, and I always follow the instructions of the event staff. Apparently this person thought I was claiming unfair advantage, and they took their anger out on me.

Please be more considerate when you are waiting to enter venues and be patient with those who require extra assistance. I understand that it can be frustrating when you see someone going ahead of you while you have been waiting all day, but I want you to realize that some of us just simply aren't capable of doing the same. We still deserve to enjoy live music and go to see our favorite artists without getting judged and ridiculed for needing accommodations, and there's nothing more dehumanizing than being made to feel like you don't belong. Every fan deserves to feel safe and welcomed, together we can make that happen for all Broses.
