Hello! I am currently trying to fill out the artist application but I'm a little confused by the second page. It asks for the portfolio but it also asks for three separate artworks? But why not just show the artworks in the portfolio itself? It's just a little confusing and I wanna make sure I know what exactly I'm supposed to do before I apply.

We would like you to show us what you feel are your three best works even if they are in the portfolio as well! It helps when we see what you feel best showcases your works as a portfolio could have a large number of pieces and not be consistent.

hey was wondering if u have an faq anywhere? just wondering a couple things -- if u had a schedule, and if the zine is for charity or for profit? cheers! (also not sure if this is a problem on my computer specifically but i think the blog theme glitches up the ask box a fair bit, had to use some weird shortkeys to send this haha)

We will be posting a schedule within the next week, and yes this is a charity zine!! Thank you for the support. The FAQ is basically any asks answered with #faq so people know what has been answered before sending in.

We are not 100% sure which charity we are giving to but it will most likely be some sort of LGBT charity like the Trevor project!

What are you looking for/criteria in the portfolio application?

Hi!

So because this is a zine focused around the characters of the show, we'd like a portfolio based around character design, cartooning/ illustrations with cartoony styles. There does not need to be a focus on scenery but it would be a plus, and it would be good to see objects, a good grasp on clothing and lighting/rendering. Also a good usage of poses and knowledge of anatomy is a must.

Also please take into consideration the theme of our zine and think about what you might want to draw!
