skin to skin contact is not as taboo or limited on vulcan as people often believe. certain forms are reserved for specific relationships such as the two finger touch for romantic or the forehead lean for close familial/platonic.

t'mira greatly desires physical contact, finds comfort and peace in the grounding nature of knowing someone you care for is nearby. but rarely initiates, concerned about reading more into a relationship than the other feels or making them uncomfortable. an early sign they have lost focus or are not regulating their mind as they should is a tendency to initiate small forms of contact.

They take the pause in the conversation to examine him in return, catching the flicker of hesitation, wondering what he is holding back and what is going unsaid. It would take very little effort to reach out with her mind and get a better sense with how the gears turning in his mind is reflected clearly across his face, but they stay rooted against the wall giving him the moment he needs to find his words or decide what she gets to know.

"Maybe," they begin slowly, hesitant to waive their stance. "Or maybe it's not obvious because it's something you have to claim for yourself, carve out your own space. What makes it hard being what makes it worth finding."
