when some ppl on the internet are like "farmers rape their cows", or "they forcibly impregnate them" are so wrong, like most of the animals in nature don't mate regularly, you wouldn't say that nature rapes them. All that farmers do is put a bull and a cow beside each other. (In nature if they wouldn't die instantly somehow that would happen naturally)

With all that, farmers, especially big corporations treat their animals poorly, and that should be regulated and managed better, but the outrage around this thing in particular is so dumb, to anyone who saw these animals in real life. You can really say anything else, like their calves are taken away from them many times too early, they live in small places, they don't eat normal grass, they are milked with machines that hurt them etc, like literally anything, but some really go with rape...

I don't know if some of you don't think the word rape is serious or what is wrong but it's just stupid. That's the propaganda I will just refuse to believe.

My worst take is that I'm not fond of the idea of uniting with Moldova. Like sure, if a referendum is made and most of the ppl agree with it I won't riot or burn down the parliament, but it's something I personally don't support. I have nothing against the Moldovans, I don't hate them, I wish them all the best, I'm fine calling them frații noștri de peste Prut, and I'm fine if our government helps them whenever they need, I support their double citizenship, and everything. It's really not about me hating them, it's just I think they are a different country with their own history and culture, that even if it's close to ours it's different.

The same way I wouldn't support any kind of Transilvania Hungary union, I don't support the union between Romania and Rep. Moldova. The two things are the same in my eyes. Maybe the reunion between the later would be more peaceful, but it's technically the same. Rn I think we should help them get in the EU first, and that should be the first step...

Hosszú Hunyadi rant, mert valaki nekem azt mondta, hogy ez egy jó sorozat, és nem az

Több mint 26 évet akart 10 részben elmondani, ami legtöbbször tényleg így sikerült, hogy el lett mondva, mert nem volt idő megmutatni. Logikus, mondjuk, de olyan szempontból meg fura, mert semmi nem történt néha. Ami érdekes lett volna azt nem láttuk, ami meg nem volt érdekes azt meg néztük.

Folyamatosan hallgatjuk, hogy a Cillei meg a Frigyes plottingolnak az elején valamit a Zsigmond ellen, de azon kívül, hogy egy gyenge orvost küldenek hozzá nem csinálnak semmit. Ha Cillei az antagonista, akkor lássuk, hogy csinál is valamit azon kívül, hogy helyeken áll, és csúnyán beszél azokról, akik éppen nincsenek jelen. Szóval valami konkrétabbat tőle. Nem kedveltem a karakterét, de neki jól állt volna több képernyőidő, hogy lássuk, hogyan szervezkedik mindenkivel.

Én értem, hogy kellett a történet miatt, de miért kellett az Albert meg a Luxemburgi Erzsébet rövid házasságát tönkre tenni, főleg, hogy az elején jól indult? Tudom, hogy nem történelemhez hű sorozat, de jót tett volna, ha itt mondjuk a 3 vagy 4(?) gyerek az megszületik, főleg, hogy az egyik majd trónkövetelő is lesz, a másikat meg odaígérik Ulászlónak. Erzsébet okén megírt karakter volt, de vele éreztem azt először, hogy nem tudnak nőket írni ebben a sorozatban, mert bármi van, a megoldás vagy az, hogy megtámadjuk a törököt, vagy, hogy megerőszakolnak egy nőt, semmi más (lehetett volna benne több politika). 1440 környékén az emberek hitték, hogy a királyok azokat az Isten küldte, őket nem fogják megerőszakolni jobbra balra. És nem adott semmit a történethez, hogy a V. László a Cillei gyereke, mert ők amúgy is egy család, Ulrik meg Erzsébet unokatestvérek.

Egyéb fura dolgok, mikor Ulászló lesz a király, erre Hunyadi mondja, hogy hát ő nem beszél lengyelül... mintha nem minden latinul zajlott volna, és a közös nyelv nem a latin lett volna, úgy amúgy. Fun fact, állítólag az Ulászló udvara amúgy magyar volt, szóval elképzelhető, hogy tényleg beszélt magyarul, de a Hunyadi reakciója akkor is vicces a korban.

Várna fura volt, az egész fejezet, mert hogy halljuk, hogy nem jön a segítség, akkor, megyünk Várnának. Keresztül havasalföldön, gyilkolásszuk az ortodox papokat, semmi baj, a vatikáni küldött negatív figura, és nekünk haragudni kell rá, okot kell adni rá. Ott vannak Várnánál, nem tudjuk, hogy mi a stratégia, igazából úgy kezdődik a rész, hogy túl vagyunk a csatán, és Hunyadi nincs magánál és húzza Mihály, és csak emlékképeket kapunk. Hunyadi éppen győzelemre áll, erre nekik ront a király is a töröknek, két percen belül lefejezik és a magyarok ettől olyan sokkot kapnak, hogy elveszítik a csatát. Az oda úton ellenszenves Ulászlót, aki még a buzdító beszédet is csak maga elé makogta, mielőtt átadta a szót Jánosnak, ezen a ponton senki nem szerette. Mi a sokk oka? Vagy mi történt ténylegesen, miért nem látjuk? Vagy legalább az előtte levő megbeszélést miért nem látjuk? Valamit, hogy lássuk, hogy mit rontottak el.

A várnai csata eredetileg érdekes. Maga, ahogy történt. Btw, a csatában részt vett II.Mircea (később átsegíti a megmaradt csapatokat visszafelé a Dunán is), II. Vlad legidősebb fia, és Cesarini ott halt meg a harcban. Míg a másik oldalon amúgy Murad volt, de úgy, hogy gyakorlatilag ekkor már lemondott, csak Mohamed (aki 12 éves ennél a csatánál) visszahívta és először nem akart jönni de utána Mohamed írt neki, hogy de azonnal jöjjön, és akkor jött és ő vezette a harcot (a sorozatban gyakorlatilag fordítva történt) , közben Vladut meg Radu ott vannak Drinápolyban. A csata maga meg tényleg kaotikus volt és tényleg a király agymenésén múlt, hogy meghalt.

Erről több verzió van, de tényleg elfogták hazafele őket, de senki nem tudja, hogy miért vagy hogyan pontosan, mert utána meg el vannak engedve, és még ajándékot is kapnak, meg el vannak kísérve a határig. Nem kellett az Újlaki serege, és Erzsébetnek sem kellett belovagolnia a havasalföldi udvarba, nem kellett senkit megerőszakolni. Ha már itt vagyunk, Erzsébet mind álmodta, hogy a fiúkat megölik a csatában, de minek, mi értelme volt, ha a gyereket egyszer láttuk a csata közben, és csak egy karcolás van rajta. Ha meg arra ment ki, hogy Erzsébet aggódik az álma miatt, akkor minek haboz? Utaljon a Mihály feleségének, vagy Újlakinak erre, hogy érezzük, hogy rá ez hatással volt, de így, semmi súlya nem volt, csak időt töltöttünk vele, meg azzal, hogy "bújtatni kellett" a fiút. De meg lehetett volna oldani realisztikusabban, nincs olyan nő, meg szex, akiért bárki kockáztatja az emberei életét. Látjuk, hogy eltörik a lábát a Hunyadinak, de az 5 perc múlva úgy fut, mint egy bivaly, minek rúgod ki a lábát a helyéről, ha tudod, hogy utána futnia kell?

Vissza arra, hogy a török szálat el kellett rontani, és nekem senki nem tudja megmagyarázni, hogy nem azért, mert mindenkit utálunk, de románokat nagyon. Like bfr. Radut és Vladot '42-ben viszik Drinápolyba (2 évvel várna előtt). Amúgy tényleg, senki nem öregszik ebben a sorozatban csak a gyerekek, de azok nagyon, kis kölyök még, az összes, mikor elviszik őket, eltelik 2 év és puff 20 évesek. De ezt leszámítva, Mehmednek nem volt idősebb fiútestvére, egy lánytesója volt, az is kisebb (Muradnak is csak őccse volt btw), szóval az egész belviszály azért volt, mert különben a török fél annyira kiegyensúlyozott, hogy így is mindenki nekik szurkolt, de úgy... De legyen egy bátyja, aki miért lakik a háremben, mikor oda nem mehet be senki? Lakjon, de akkor leöli Vlad, és ezt mindenki tudja... és guess what, Vlad ezt túléli, nem gyilkolja le senki a török udvarban. Sok mindent elnéz az ember, de ha ez megtörtént volna akkor Vlad halott, hamarabb mint, hogy pislogni lett volna ideje. Radu, akinek a Mohameddel volt viszonya, de ennyire nem mertek wokenak lenni a készítők, vagy nem tudom, eltűnik, bro volt és nincs. Pedig később ő is fontos lesz, hisz havasalföldi fejedelem lesz belőle. Van egy jelenet, amiben Vlad meg Mohamed ülnek a medencében a háremben, és ott mondja neki, Mohamed, hogy Vladnak ott a helye mellette és nem segíti, hogy fejedelem legyen belőle, mert nem akarja, hogy elmenjen, Vlad meg az öngyilkosságot fontolgatja, az a jelenet aranyat ér, bár 0 esély van rá, hogy megtörténjen.

Mara megerőszakolását, sem kellett volna túlélje, mert, hogy ha van nő a képben, akkor azt meg kell erőszakolni. A hárem az egy szent hely, meg dolog, azok a nők a szultánéi, őket nem lehet csak úgy, büntetlenül megerőszakolni. Már régen nem volt megerőszakolva senki, de Vlad ezt is túlélte. Igazából Vlad a legnagyobb túlélő, mert míg mindenkit elvisz a pestis, ez a gyerek bezárva élő egeret eszik, és semmi. For 1 moment, említsük már meg, hogy Vlad évekig be volt zárva, és egyik pillanatban még egy egeret nyammog, és alíg bír felállni, a másikban meg már jólképzett tőrök őröket gyilkol. Hogy? Ez a sorozat igazából, a mit él túl Vlad címet kéne viselje, mert ezt a gyereket tényleg mindenkinek meg kellett volna ölje, mert minden jelenetben, mikor látjuk mond, vagy tesz valamit, amiért a valóságban halál várt volna rá. És amúgy tényleg van valami dehumanizáló, ahogy a románok ebben a sorozatban be vannak mutatva, a kameraállás, a világítás, a jelenetek. Nem arról van szó, hogy nem voltak brutális kegyetlenségek Havasalföldön, de, hogy egyáltalán nem lehet azonosulni semmivel, amit a sorozatban tesznek. Szóval vannak ilyen gyenge próbálkozások, Vladnak van egy elszólása, hogy az oszmánok nem ölik meg a papjaikat, vagy Radu mondja, hogy neki ezután is itt kell éljen, de hogy sok esetben csak így csinálnak nem morális dolgokat és nem látjuk, hogy miért. A fiatal Vlad esetében meg ez tényleg igaz, végignézzük, ahogy rengeteg abúzus hatására elállatiasodik. Lehet csak nekem, de valahogy, ahogy forgatja a fejét a színész, arról, és tényleg nem akarom a színészt bántani, mert nem a kinézete, de valami állat jut eszembe, az hogy megharapta Marat, meg az az egeres jelenet, annyira no reason embertelen. Ugyanígy, mikor kiszökik Targovisteről és bezárja az apját... (II Vlad nem a Karóbahúzó Vlad, annak meg utána se néztek, azt a fia a törököktől tanulta el, mert náluk is bevett szokás volt.) De a románokat alakító színészeknek valami + jutalom jár, mert szépen hozták a román nyelvet meg kiejtést, hallatszott, hogy nem az anyanyelvük, de tényleg szépen és érthetően mondták azt a pár szót. A Vladutot alakító színésznek meg ingyen terápia is.

Csak engem idegesített, hogy a pap összeszedett 20 ezer embert és akkor csak sétáltak? Lehet azzal a sarlóval vágni, egy ló lábát is akár, de nem csináltak semmit, csak mentek előre a halálba, akkor azt hittem, hogy leütök valakit.

Szóval röviden lehetett volna benne több politika, Hunyadi is jó politikus volt, nem valami barbár bivaly, de Vitézi és Cillei sokkal több kellett volna ebbe a sorozatba, ha már úgy állították be, hogy ez egy ilyen politikai dráma lesz.

Az utolsó két rész, főleg az utolsó, a legjobb. És nagyban a vágás miatt, meg ott már összeállt a dolog, nem volt mit elrontani. Van egy shot, ahogy Mihály áll és nézi a török tábort a várból és szépen közelít rá a kamera, az nagyon vágányúl néz ki, meg a párhuzamos Miatyánk is szép megoldás azon a pontján a résznek. Ilyen szempontból az a csata hagyományos, de annyival jobb, mint minden más ebben a sorozatban. A Mátyás Újlaki páros kedvelhető volt. A Mara Erzsébet utolsó találkozása az egyik legjobb nő központú rész, ha már annyi felesleges erőszakon túlmentek, az annyira emberi volt.

(értem, hogy a Franciska miért szeretett ezen dolgozni, kb. az egyetlen, aki szép helyen forgatot végig, az összes többi a sárban folyamatos esőben, csatakosan, koszos helyen)

unpopular(?) Hunger Games opinion, but the Coveys were inspired by the Romani ppl...

Hear me out:

The Coveys are travelers, just how the Roma people were for so long, before some countries technically banned them, from doing that, and forced them to settle down in one place.

Culturally many Romani plays an instrument, like here where I live, they say, that when they are born, their parents hands them a violin, and a bow, and if the baby reach for the violin they are going to play in an instrument, if they reach for the bow they are going to sing (this might be inaccurate as it was a time we talked about this, but something really close to this). And there're many good singers in our area that are Romani. Stereotypically they are very musically gifted ppl.

Coveys love colours, and have colourful dresses, just as romani ppl have traditionally really intricate dresses, especially women, colourful skirts with bold patterns.

This was a random thought so these are my points, but I'm sure there would be more if I would wanted to find more.

Btw I would like to see some positive Romani representation as they are many times discriminated, and hated for no reason.

Da, nu voiam să-i menționez pe săraci, dar da, sunt unii care cred că e vina lor. Castorii pot fi relocați, există planuri cum se poate, și sunt oameni care ar putea rezolva situația.

Am ascultat mai multe interviuri cu primarul și cu șefii, și nici măcar nu au menționat castorii. Toată lumea știe că ei nu au nicio vină. A fost vorba că sunt castori în zonă, dar asta nu înseamnă că nu poți face nimic, înseamnă că trebuie să găsești o soluție care să nu-i deranjeze.

Btw să știți cât de pregătiți sunt cei de acolo, au zis că casele nu sunt în pericol, da, acum trebuie să evacueze 10 case. Incompetența...

context: Am văzut un (mai multe) comentariu care spunea că dacă ardelenii vor autonomie, atunci să nu se plângă acum că statul român nu-i ajută, ci să se descurce singuri.

So, if there's anyone out of the loop, there's a huge culturally important Salt Mine in Praid, Transylvania. That was flooded a few days ago, the nearby steam's flow increased like 100 times bc of heavy raining. It was a huge touristic attraction, but also it had the biggest salt reserves of our country, Romania.

Ppl are rightfully angry, let me tell you why... keep reading things will get worse and worse, and I will try to keep it short

There were studies done that the nearby steam, Corund has to be controlled and diverted since 2007 That's almost two decades ago. They did nothing. (A few days ago the local ppl found the writer of the studie, not the administrators of the mine, the ppl, and he had a few ideas, but it was too late at that point). Did I mention that the administration, and everyone acted like this study doesn't exist, while the ppl knew?

Nobody knows what the saltwater is going to do exactly

there were problems for a while now, but the local management kept lying about the problem, the miners tried to fix the infiltrations, till the last minutes, they were risking their own life, they stayed until they could, heroically, and then they abandoned the mine themselves, bc it became too risky to stay, by themselves bc nobody cared enough to go down and tell them, that the mine can collapse on them, and they should get the machines and leave. They could have died there, and nobody cared!

When the raining became heavier the locals (civils and the workers of the mine) successfully made a dam and a riverbed so they could put down a geofoil (? not sure how they are called in English) ,as the raining have not stopped, they wanted to make a third riverbed... but they were stopped, and the ING service took over, cuz "they are going to do it", they were slow af, and they run out of time, the locals tried to help, and they were not let, they had to abandon the project.

The ppl who live there are worried about their homes, as nobody really knows were the mine goes exactly, and if it collapses will their house go down too... they sent a specialist to calm them, with a map from the '80, the ppl had to tell him, that his map is outdated as hell (the steam is going elsewhere since then). Poor man was set up hard. The ppl are told by the mayor too that the mine is not under their homes, and they are safe, but honestly I wouldn't belive them.

So what's next?

Arafat told everyone that they going to resolve the situation (nothing concrete)

A document requested from the salt company will be presented to the government as a matter of urgency, and the government will create the necessary resources for this next week. (They really never cared about this, so high hopes)

the Hungarian government is going to help so the tourism doesn't stop 100

They are going to recalculate if they can and would build a water control dam, there were plans for years but nobody did anything

Nicușor Dan promised that the Romanian government is going to analize the problem and help solving it, also they will find who is responsible for this, also will pay some money to the workers and the ppl who are economically affected (I don't know how, like that's literally everyone)

I'm going to link what the president said, bc I literally got tears in my eyes, like even if I'm not personally affected, I'm really emotional about this, bc it's really about thousands of ppl, who were lied to.

Like when you hear the administration speak, you feel like we are still a communist country, nobody knows anything, everyone in a position they are not qualified, and they are lying about how bad the situation is (there were like 4 levels full of water and they reported about only 2 or 1, they lied to the county's council president about this etc.).

So when some romanians are coming and saying well it's the hungarians' problem, I dearly tell them to fuck off, we are all in this together, this is OUR country, it's everyone's... I don't live there, not even close, but what happened there is a catastrophe, and I think everybody should and can have some empathy. I'm against their autonomy(it's dumb), but sometimes when I see, how they are treated I can understand why they are frustrated.
