As a Magic Kaito fan I have one question how long has that giant framed picture of Toichi/ Kaito kid been there. It's a secret passage to the kid basement and it has to have been there since before the accident.

Like either they put a secret entrance in there childs room in the form of a giant paining of his father before he faked his death or Kaito at some point got his old parents room over the years. Which would make more sense if his mom wasn't still alive and didn't need a room to sleep during her maybe 3 weeks at home a year.

I just need an explanation for the secret passage in Kaito's room to the crime basement.

I think a good in universe explanation for a lot of small plot holes in Luffys backstory is that he was kinda sickly when he was born and everyone was just glad he was alive.

Why was Luffy raised in foosha village and not with the mountain bandits like Ace? He needed more care than was possible at that mountain base.

Why is Luffy so much smaller than his dad and grandpa? Because he was born sickly and nearly died every time he went out without supervision till he was at least 8

Why did Luffy not know haki? At 7 Ace was fighting grown men and winning with mild scratches at 7 Luffy with a devil fruit that makes him immune to blunt damage nearly died do to some random bandit the moment he did not have direct supervision. They needed to work on basic not dying in a fight.

Why was Garp in the east blue at the start of the series with a conveniently open position that would train a teenager in haki and marine skills? He was planning on filling that position with Luffy and teaching him ship and haki stuff than.

Why was Luffy so much weaker than Ace when he set out to be a pirate? His training and actually fighting didn't start until later in Luffys life than Ace so he didn't reach Ace at 17 levels till he was like 19

Why wasn't Luffy taught so many things about this world? People were just glad that he wasn't dead because he nearly died like 4 times by 8.

Was this planned by Oda probably not but it fits

I head cannon the reason kaito asked for a ransom in Sunflowers of the inferno was to prove that he could pull of a better version of the feather trick used by Kaitou Corbeau who may or may not be his father

Kaitou Corbeau feathers fell from the ceiling and just blocked detectives view Kaito kids circled around the room blowing directly into people's faces before going out the window and causing a commotion outside while he made his escape.

Conan uses a button speaker at the start of the series to project Kogoro's voice from is body but be episode 150 he stops doing it as much. So if you were wondering why people never questioned where the sleeping Kogoro's voice comes from it used to have an in universe explanation. That they stop doing out of the inconvenience of drawing Conan put a speaker button on Kogoro.

I need to know the in universe theories people have has to why Kaito Kid disappeared for eight years. What theory does sonoko believe in? Is there a betting ring in the Kaito Kid bergade.
