Mostly reblogs of what catches my eye. Some Paganism/Heathenry, some nerdy stuff. Maybe some of my own fiction. Randomness from a middle aged Canuck. Anglo Saxon Heathen Druid. Also - fuck racism and white supremacy.

its good that people have enjoyed smaller tits and that not everyone with tits feels the need to be DDD minimum to feel worthy if attention
but this mentality needs to be more with dicks. The whole obsession with big dicks is rooted in so much bad shit from misogyny to racism and more. Its fine to have a preference but not when it excludes all others and you treat them as lesser for not having it
As a very fat trans woman i deal with this two-fold and im sure many others do as well. Our weight/size making us shoved into the DomTop corner but then mocked & belittled for having a dick thats smaller then average. Like what do expect weight gain, depression and hrt to do?
Cis dudes deal.with this too. and this mentality of what a dick is "supposed" to look like hurts our trans brothers as well
its this mentality of big = top = dom = proper
small = bttm = sub = embarrassing/gross
its fucked up and so many ppl perpetuate it. how many times do u see/hear ppl post about big dicks and etc etc but the only context for smaller ones is humiliation?
we all gotta get less fucked up about dicks

Don’t let Chrome’s big redesign distract you from the fact that Chrome’s invasive new ad platform, ridiculously branded the “Privacy Sandbox,” is also getting a widespread rollout in Chrome today. If you haven’t been following this, this feature will track the web pages you visit and generate a list of advertising topics that it will share with web pages whenever they ask, and it’s built directly into the Chrome browser. It’s been in the news previously as “FLoC” and then the “Topics API,” and despite widespread opposition from just about every non-advertiser in the world, Google owns Chrome and is one of the world’s biggest advertising companies, so this is being railroaded into the production builds.
Use Firefox.

Why am I posting this?
Because I know I have a lot of young people following me, and because over the past few years, I've seen a shocking amount of anti-gay rhetoric in MY comment section. Of my Steven Universe fancomic. An extremely lgbtq-friendly show.
So what gives? My best guess is, I have a very wide following, and a lot of these readers are pretty socially insulated in conservative spaces that don't allow them to explore the concepts of the other side of the argument.
I'm not about to judge children on the environment they were raised in... but I'm also here. I'm a part of the environment. And I'd like to offer some perspectives.
If you don't agree with how I present things - great! Make your own post.

Hey just a quick check in- now that musk is like severely imploding on trump and their severed ties
Yall won't forget this part right?
Yall won't forget he's still a massive scumbag right? That he's still a nazi right? That won't get lost in translation right???
(I don't THINK it'll get forgotten but I really want to remind people that just because Musk is now bashing trump for all the shit we've known about him for awhile that we don't forget he was complicit. If anything his bashing and airing out trumps laundry makes it worse, because he KNEW all that and still worked with him.)

Anyway, daily reminder from a culturally isolated Romani person.
Gypsy does not mean wanderer.
It literally means ‘people from egypt’ or similar, as europeans believed Romani people were from Egypt. It has become known similar to nomad due to how our ancestors have been forced to be nomadic due to racism and ostracization, but it is a SLUR.
Romani people are STILL being forcibly sterilized.
Romani people are STILL being forced into ghettos.
Romani people are still facing violence and danger in countless European countries- and recently, I’ve seen the beginnings of the extremes in the United States.
Have a little fucking respect and DON’T USE A SLUR THAT’S BEEN USED FOR CENTURIES AGAINST US.
And for the love of whatever’s up there, ESPECIALLY do not use it to describe your witchcraft. It is playing on the ‘magic gypsy’ trope, and is EXTREMELY insulting.
non romani people, please reblog this.

Affirmations inspired by Thor:
I embody strength and courage, just as Thor wields Mjölnir with power.
I protect and defend those who are dear to me, standing strong in the face of adversity.
I honor my commitments and fight for justice with unwavering determination.
My spirit is as indomitable as Thor’s, resilient in the storms of life.
I channel Thor's energy to overcome challenges and achieve my goals.
Like Thor, I balance power with compassion, using my strength to uplift others.
I fear no battle, for I am guided by the wisdom and might of Thor.
I am a protector, a warrior of light, carrying Thor’s legacy of bravery and honor.
Strength flows through me like the thunder that accompanies Thor’s presence.
I am grounded and unshakeable, just as Thor stands firm in his convictions.
I welcome the challenges of life, knowing I have the strength of Thor to face them.
With Thor’s guidance, I walk my path with confidence and integrity.
These affirmations are designed to help channel Thor’s attributes into your daily life, reinforcing qualities of strength, protection, and courage.

@kristi_williams_black_history, a Black woman whose aunt survived the Tulsa Massacre, saw Oklahoma trying to silence Black history-and answered with action. She started "Black History Saturdays," free community classes to teach what the schools won't.

This is a heroic feat that shouldn’t be needed. But because it is, a hero emerged.

if you ever doubt your writing, be it your themes, or the reason behind it, remember that h.g wells wrote war of the worlds both as a commentary on colonialism and the horrors it brings, and because he fucking hated his neighbours and his 13 hour job, and wanted to write about the town in which he lived getting blasted to the fucking ground by lasers into an irreparable heap and all of the townspeople dying painfully
you, too, can channel your hatred for that guy that lives down the hall and blasts music at 4am into the one of the most influential science fiction stories ever written! fuck it! i believe in you!!

you are 16. you are talking with a gay man in his 50s or 60s, a friend, huge and gentle with a scarf and short fluffy curls of gray hair, who has directed you in two plays staged in your mid-size artsy town. (he has not yet asked you to be in his production of The Laramie Project which will change your life. this conversation will also change your life.)
he is talking about theatre. he is talking about theatre when he was younger. he says, "of course, it was AIDS then." in the pause, you ask him. clumsy and quiet and 16 and "straight," you ask him. what was it like.
he takes a moment in which his face is not like a person's face. "there was a time," he says, "i'm not sure how long, years. when i went to a funeral every weekend." he tells you about two funerals in a day, and choosing between friends when you couldn't make it to both. he does not look at you, he looks at them. his wet grey gaze is so clear that you start to see ghosts. it will be years before you understand why it feels like your grief too. why the ghosts call you family.
