Stop shaming people for being passionate about the things that they love. Stop mocking people for having unusual interests. Like, honestly, I’m so tired of feeling embarrassed for being "too much". If being too much means having deep interests that fill my life with romanticism and excitement, then let me be!! I’d much rather listen to anyone ranting about their latest obsession with 16th century swords than have a boring ordinary conversation with those who shame passionate people.

Broken Brooch
One of a pair of incomplete oval brooches found in Overhalla, Trøndelag.
On some objects I feel like doing more interpretation rather than showing all the damage and details. This one is definitely one with more interpretation than usual since from the angles available, it's pretty much impossible to see what's going on in some parts and it didn't make a lot of sense.
Brooch T6575 from UNIMUS

The script hurts on so many levels. But David Oakes would've been the perfect historical Duke of Clarence who is described as witty, charming and highly popular in contemporary sources. I would so love to see that instead of the mess in TWQ.
Well done, George! As your prize, I shall confer on you the title... And I was hoping for your crown..

And I'd love to give you some authentic medieval garments... authentic cut, properly fitted. It would look amazing and you'd be surprised how comfy they are.
"The great thing about my job is that I go to get changed and there's a bodice, sword, dagger or a whole lot of chain mail. Juan Borgia has this whole military side, so there's a lot of armor, swords and flourishing headpieces. There's something great and transformative about putting on the clothes of a different generation." — DAVID OAKES

WIP on a little round brooch. the figures on this one have very funny expressions. this one especially looks terrified. perhaps there is a figure near him to be scared of?
i havent done a lot of these drawings lately because they take very long and my hand tremor means i have to redo lines a lot. this easter i've had a lot of time to just chill and watch my easter crime dramas so maybe i'll get this one done.

“Having David Oakes and Holliday Grainger on board has instantly upped even my own anticipation of the film. They’re both incredibly gifted actors, with a shared working history from their time on ‘The Borgias’, that helped both their chemistry on screen and also the shoot itself – their short hand and comfort around each other meant we could really crack on. About 75% of the film is a back and forth between their two characters (Liz and Harry) and they were running through the entire exchange before we’d even worked out how to break it down and block it. Really amazing. Holly brought such an exasperated frustration to her role that made it impossible not to laugh, especially when paired with David’s drained but desperate Harry.” — Matt Brothers, screenwriter of 'Goblin' (2014)
