Luce :D
I made a little Luce FUNKO pop!! I’ve wanted to do this since she was released because she’s just so adorable and it’s been a bit since I’ve gotten to repaint a FUNKO, but after seeing the (rather disappointing) dolls officially being sold of her, I finally got around to making one. She’s a little rough cus I’m not selling her or anything, just mine to keep. The doll was originally a Ron Weasley figurine.

we don't talk about Joseph's fear enough. like imagine you are told that your betrothed is carrying God Himself in her womb. imagine the fear you probably feel for her safety since she is pregnant outside of wedlock and everyone is looking at you suspiciously. imagine having to walk 90 miles to your hometown when she is 9 months pregnant. imagine arriving in bethlehem but there is no where for your heavily pregnant wife to stay for the next ew days until the census, but it's mid-winter, and the best you can do for her is a smelly barn because an innkeeper took pity on you. now she's having contractions and you don't know what to other than call the town midwife, hold her hand, and wish that you could have given her and the child better than this. imagine that the birth is over and the baby Messiah is healthy and the mother is okay, and you think you can finally breathe a little, and then an angel tells you that this precious little boy will be brutally murdered and hunted by the king if you don't immediately flee that night to a different country. and for the whole 600 mile journey to cairo you are constantly looking over your shoulder.
imagine Joseph's fear, and his perseverance despite it.

Gabriel Network is also a good place to go for unexpected pregnancies. They have similar aid programs to the sisters of life, I believe
My mom is currently on a call with someone who is having an abortion. Why is she having an abortion?
Not because she wants one. In fact, she's devastated and scared because she knows that she's going to kill the baby.
But her boyfriend isn't giving her a choice. He's making her choose between him and the baby. He's promising that he loves her, but also assuring her that he'll leave her the minute the baby is born.
A while ago, she told him that she was putting her foot down.
So he pretended to comply, later called her, and then tricked her into getting on a facetime with a Planned Parenthood member. Both of them began drilling into her all the reasons that she cannot keep this baby (finances, mentally/physically draining, etc) and basically coerced her into scheduling an appointment to kill the baby. And her boyfriend is determined to make sure that she attends it.
She's talking to my mom because she doesn't know where to turn.
Everything's been finalized. She feels like it's far out of her hands.
She's not a Catholic or a Christian. She's surrounded by Abortion activists. By people who keep telling her that this is for the best. She's not in a good place to care for the baby anyway. It's not even a baby yet. No one is being harmed. She'll be fine.
She's scared and stuck in grief for something that hasn't happened yet. She doesn't want to lose her baby. She doesn't want to lose him.
My mom is trying to help her through it. She's giving her options and ideas, places to get cheap furniture and charities who will assist her. She has asked me not to be present because it's a private matter between them, so I don't know more than clips of brief discussion.
But I know my mom is doing more for her than anyone else.
Do not tell me that abortions are all about Women's Rights.
It's her right to keep this baby.
So why is my mom the only one who's respecting that?

Hello!

Intro Below!
I’m Jo, a fairly newly converted Catholic with a little bit of a wild story (as most Catholic converts have tbh) and I’ve made this blog to ramble about and discuss all things apologetics because I’m autistic and hyperfixated I very much enjoy discussing the faith.
As I mentioned I am Catholic but I enjoy apologetics on all levels- natural and Christian as well. I’m hoping to find people of similar faith and interest in explaining said faiths here. God willing and we can all grow together!
