Hey so a lot of ppl say she had a miscarriage is that true? I haven't found any actual sources saying that happened.

Hello! Unfortunately, I can’t really tell you for sure since I have no confirmed sources of information but I might as well give you my opinion about this, now that you’re asking and I hope that’s okay. First thing first, Dillon is rather secretive and it seems to me that she doesn’t quite enjoy discussing her personal live in interviews and I’ve read and saw and listened to quite a lot of them. I’ve been reading comments about how Thirteen Thirtyfive is an autobiographical song about a girl who had a miscarriage ever since I discovered her as an artist so I once decided to go through the web hoping that I’ll eventually find out if this is true or not. And I didn’t, but I did some maths. If this song was purely biographical, she would be 35 when her child was 13 years old, which means she had her kid at the age of 22. April 29th 2010 is when Dillon turned 22. By March the same year she was playing as an opening act for Tocotronic or doing some other rather private performances. Back then, she was already singing a song called “Not together but alone” [source] which sounds to me like an early version of Thirteen Thirtyfive. Rather she had a miscarriage not long before that or not, we do not know. Perhaps this song is indeed autobiographical and her child was supposed to be born by the time she was already 22, but she lost it a few months before that. Or perhaps this, as many other of her songs, is abstract and could mean anything. Perhaps she was singing about her mother? Well, I don’t know. The only one who knows for sure is Dillon and she chose not to speak about it. As far as I know, nobody has ever asked her this on interviews so I guess they decided to respect her privacy too. I would personally never believe this unless I find a reliable source of information. Because, you know how it is, one makes an assumption and then everyone on Youtube takes it seriously and starts to spread the word. But what do I know?
