God, I want a game dedicated to Ultra Space so much. It would be cool to play as a new recruit of the Ultra Recon Squad or something. Seeing as Poipole is a popular starter there, maybe the Grass Water Fire trio would change to Poison Grass Ground, maybe even give Poipole a mid-evo. They would probably have to give some new abilities to the UBs though, since everything having Beast Boost would get boring fast.

It's been a long time since Pokemon has done a spinoff game ala PMD. One focused more on exploring Ultra Space would be really cool, and a unique concept. Plus it would be great to get more UB designs.

She’s related to Adaman for sure, but I think Iris’s is a stretch. Maybe she’ll have a brother or something though

Just a theory, but I’m not sure it’s exactly a coincidence that their skin tone matches perfectly and the tips of their hair is a similar shade of green. The straight hair could be the influence of a parent but I’m not sure if we’ll see them. Even if Irida isn’t related, they definitely did some color picking off of her for Perrin’s design (or at some point in the family tree Irida’s family came in through marriage). That boy in the Paldean Winds promo thing looks a bit similar to Adaman too? Maybe he could be the brother? (Unless I’m blind and he doesn’t)

Also I just wanna know how Adaman’s genes are so powerful that 5 generations later that his great x 4 granddaughter looks almost identical to him 😭

Some more stuff about my shitty ass Pokemon(ish) fangame concept set in Ultra Megalopolis

- You play as either Islea (female player) or Caze (male player). As of the beginning of the story, you’re a first year student in the Ultra Academy for Gifted Kids, a school placed deep within Ultra Corp, the company that runs mostly everything in the city. You join your three rivals, the opposite gender of the player you chose. Ximon, a spoiled rich kid who will do whatever it takes to surpass you. And a familiar face... Zossie! A happy go lucky second year student who became part of the Ultra Recon Squad (which is alot bigger than just four people) in her first year.

- The main plot centers around you collecting data on undiscovered Ultra Beasts, rising through the ranks as a cadet to the Ultra Class, and you and your rivals becoming entangled in the case of Team Vantablack, the gang that plauges the underbelly of Ultra Megalopolis. You will meet a few familiar faces, as well as new ones! You will make friends (and enemies too) through your journey.

- The OG members of the Ultra Recon Squad seen in USUM, as well as Rhi from Pokego, return in this fangame concept. Now with deeper lore and some snippets of their backstories. And they have some friends too! Meet Tray, Katlina, Andrex, and Kasra! Along with Dulse, Soliera, and their Captain Phyco, they are part of Team 14! Rhi is your classmate in Mr. Xellon’s class, a curious student who is often seen as the Professor’s assistant.

- This takes place three years before Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, which means that this technically counts as a prequel :/

- There are tons of new Ultra Beasts along with the ones we already met. From the mischevious UB 31: Imprint, also known as Letharsier, to the two new starters Capclod and Tippitrivet alongside Poipole (credit to @francesthetraveller ), as well as the ones we met in USUM.

- Two new worlds, the Ultra City and the Ultra Circus, the homes of Stakataka and Blacephalon, can be explored. And venture into the Underground under your city to learn the history of your world!

- The story delves into a bit of darker topics, it’s not meant to be the traditional silly funni lighthearted Pokemon game for kids, there are definitely some darker and more serious topics discussed. From corrupt politics to LITERAL DEATH, the list is short, but diverse

Yeah this is most of what I got... it’s kinda dumb and cringy at the moment but like, I thought a game set in Ultra Space would be awesome tho... <:/

EXACTLY! It’s okay to find him attractive, but when it gets to the point where you only see a character/celebrity (ESPECIALLY CELEBRITY) as a sex object who you only like because you wanna fuck them, then it gets weird. And the thing that weirds me out is how they clearly don’t care about the lore or backstory behind him. And even better, they justify it by saying they’re allowed to simp for an adult character. You can simp for an adult character, don’t fetishize them. You can simp for an adult character, don’t make it about their heritage or race.

Not that I didn't know this already but it's quite concerning that everytime a brown Latino man becomes popular in fandoms (bc he's hot) white people have to get called out for fetishizing Latinos 🤪

And it's the same recycled conversation too. not that long ago it was about Pedro Pascal in TLOU & now it has to be about Miguel O'Hara even tho Oscar Isaac (his VA) has played rly popular characters for years and his fans have gotten called out time and time again.

Nobody is saying you can't or shouldn't thirst over these characters/celebs. It's the way you're doing it that is concerning. Reducing a character to their ethnicity, or their sex appeal or portraying a brown character in "animalistic" ways is what is getting called out.

Obviously it's most likely not the same people continuing to be racist after getting called out (I want to believe). However, the fact that this happens with different fans every time deeply concerns me about how ingrained the fetishization of latinos is in this society lmao.

If you want fandom to be "inclusive" and a "safe space" then fucking listen to poc when you're getting called out. Stop the white woman tears. Apologize, don't do it again and move on.
