The Greeks would absolutely terrify the Romans

Think about it, the Greeks know that the chances of them living past 18 are pretty fucking slim. Their whole lives are just tragedys. They don't make life plans because they know they aren't going to live that long. They know even if they do make it to adulthood, they're never gonna be safe from the monsters, and they're never gonna be able to live normal lives. These kids are probably getting absolutely wasted at 13. These kids go to party's and sing and scream and dance like it's the last time they'll ever get the chance because as far as they know, it is. Aphrodite let's the Greeks find their soulmates young so they'll actually get to have time together before one gets killed. The Greeks probably went for years thinking they had no future.

Then there's the Romans who do have futures. They have a place where they can go and live after they've served the Legion. A place that's safe from monsters and that's full of people that understand the life of being a demigod. They can go to school and get married and have kids and all that stuff. They plan for their futures. The second they finish their ten years, they know exactly what they want to do. Sure, sometimes they don't live that long, but I'm willing to bet they have more of a chance to than the Greeks do.

The Greeks terrify the Romans, because their only goal is to not die.
