Soup Of The Day
Who said let's grab a bowl of warm cream soup?! Oh, it was me, nevermind. You can never go wrong with a creamy soup in these cold winter days, am I right, guys!
Sooo ... originaly I planned to make just a few soups and to add them to the Keto Cookbook, however I ended up making 25 different types of soups, so it only made sence to create a custom pot for their preparation!
You can find Soup Of The Day pot in 'Small Appliances', it costs 300$, and it comes in 5 different recolors.
I adivce you to place it on countertop.
When you press on the pot you'll see 2 options - Your Sim can make a single bowl, or a pot with Soup.
Tumblr media
Increasing your Sim's cooking skill will unlock more recipes.
When you Sim make a pot, they will place it on a surface (the soup doesn't spoil!), you will see first interaction ' Spice Up', once it's performed, then you'll see interaction to grab a bowl, which will place directly a bowl of soup, in your Sim's inventory.
You Sim can grab up to 6-7 bowls, then you need to clean up the pot!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Soup's specifics
- Single serving and a pot serving (containing up to 6-7 bowls)
- Tagged as healthy food
- Warms up sim
Optional Ingredients:
EA harvestables
My asparagus
icemunmun's veggies
Leniad's beetroot

@under-art-reblogs this one is for you bb~
Snails of ebott!!
As y’all know, snails are the national animal of ebott! They’re important animals in every au, as symbols, livestock and pets! It’s been said that the snail was a gift from lady magic herself according to some devout worshipers!
Snails are an important part of ebott culture and food. For some reason, the bugs seem to just soak up magic making them an absolutely delicious protein to monsters. The country has hundreds of snail dishes out there! The most popular are:
Snail pie: given to kids in public schools on Fridays for lunch by royal decree, snail pie is a small hand sized flour pie with a savory filling of snail, garlic, onion, spinach and cabbage. It’s very nutritious and is considered the number one most popular dish of ebott.
Greasers: a hamburger made of a grilled snail patty topped with a thick slice of mozerella, fried onions and leafy greens, serves on a herby toasted bun. It’s served in most restaurants and quite a few fast food places in ebott.
Red shell soufflé: a dense spongy cake made specifically from the butter shell snail. This cake uses the snail body in place of eggs and butter and is traditionally topped with berries and honey. The snail when baked turns a bright strawberry red giving the cake its name.
Over the years, especially in the underground AUs, these bugs were carefully raised and bred to fulfill roles the monsters needed in their farms and grocery stores. The results are strange larger than life animals! Some of these y’all have already seen in the food masterlists
Rolland’s horned snail: a large cow sized snail bred by the Rolland family from farmswap. The snails on average are the size of draft horses and can weigh nearly a ton. They’re bred purely for their meat and the shells are also sold as decoration, or ground as a binding agent mixed into cement. The snails are fed mainly sawdust, dried grass, and weeds. It takes nearly 20 years for one to reach full size though. Their meat is a luxury due to the time it takes to raise one, so is very very pricy.
Roe snails: this class of livestock snail makes up of hundreds of different breeds, all for the same purpose: the eggs. Roe snails are small, the size of standard normal snails. But they lay their eggs in clusters of thousands daily. Snail Roe is a popular snack in ebott, eaten raw or added to salads, stir fry’s, soups, omlettes, savory pies- you name it! There isn’t a set standard breed, and most farmers will have their own special variety on their land, making a huge variety of roe on ebotts shelves.
Greater Soft Shell: THE meat snail of ebott. These chunky bugs grow to be the size of turkeys and are very docile and easy to maintain. They’re strictly herbivores and are primarily kept underground as they need lots of humidity to thrive. The shell over years of selective breeding has become thin, so much so that it’s partially transparent allowing the farmers to see the outline of the snails body inside. The snails breed and grow fast, making them great for stocking the shelves of ebotts grocery stores.
Lesser soft shell: the surface variant of the greater soft shell. This snail breed is almost the same as above, their shells are just a touch thicker so they can handle dryer conditions. Their meat isn’t as tender though
Wooly snails: these snails are about the size of a standard goose when fully grown, and the shells grow a thick fur that needs to be peeled off every few weeks to keep the snail comfortable and mobile. The pelts are then throughly washed and used for clothing, pillow filler, and all other kinds of things. The snails come in a variety of colors with white being the most common, but also a powder blue and lilac. They’re raised mostly by monsters at the top of ebotts mountain range as the snails need cool temperatures to be healthy. The fur while useful is normally just a side product of the snail. They’re considered a healthier leaner option of the greater soft shell so large herds are also considered meat herds.
Butter shells: a smaller - only quail sized- livestock snail that has a body extremely high in fat. The snails are used as lard, butter or egg substitutes in dishes that need them for baking. They have a sweet and slightly salty taste to them, and they turn bright cherry red when exposed to heat. So expect your food to look the same if you cook with it.
Shroomy: it’s a brown toned standard sized snail that has a triangular mushroom top shell with some leafy earthy patterns. The snail is bred as a kitchen aid. It’s slime is used as a veggie base for stews and soups and a sauce in stir fries. And it smells like fresh mushrooms. You can buy the slime in cartons at supermarkets, but it’s also not unusual for homes to have a tank with two or three shroomies to get the slime fresh. It’s kinda like a suburban home keeping chickens in the yard.
Carrows building snails: a livestock snail that grows to be about the size of a donkey. The carrow building snail is edible sure, but the real money is in their shells. They have very thick strong shells that are ground down and used in building supplies to make materials more waterproof. The shells seem to naturally repel water without any wear and tear.
And of course, when you get an animal that’s been bred to be docile and useful, people tend to fall for them! And thus snail varieties that were purely for companionship came to be! There are hundreds of snail types that are kept as household pets!
Soft serves: by far the most popular pet snail breed in ebott, the soft serve is hand sized, with a velvety white body and shells that come in colors of pure white, pale seashell pink, cream and Pearl. The soft serve is a water “slime” snail, leaving no residue when it crawls around. So it can be a free range house pet if trained properly. They’re friendly, cuddly, curious and very expressive. They’re also intelligent pets, many videos of peoples soft serves performing tricks circle the internet. And they smell like vanilla!
Gemcaps: this gorgeous snail breed is only recommended for experienced owners due to its finicky nature. The snails are larger, chihuahua sized and have GORGEOUS shells. Their shells are a molten black with swirling patterns of metallic jewel tones all around. The snails bodies tend to come in blues, greens and purples. They’re show favorites for a reason.
Cobbleshells: it’s a snail with a grey shell that has a pattern similar to cracks in stone. While not the prettiest breed, they’re well loved for their social and curious natures. Many funny snail videos on the undernet feature these sweet babies. They’re about the size of a lady’s fist and they do produce slime, so are not free range pets. They have an earthy odor, like topsoil and can eat pretty much almost any food item. Many are fed table scraps with the typical snail feed sold at stores, making them a rather cheap starter pet for children.
Snegs: a domestic snail breed meant for active pet owners. The sneg is the size of a housecat and is one of the “slimeless” snail varieties. Their body feels damp to the touch but doesn’t leave any residue, making them a good free range pet instead of needing a tank. Snegs are strange as they have layers of folds under their little snail bodies that can be pulled up to reveal six pairs of legs. When the Snegs run, the middle legs will grab their folds and hoist them up like a skirt to free the other four as to move easier. They’re recommended for athletic owners who can spare time to play with and walk them daily.
Lady grays: the shell of this snail typically comes in a pale powder blue or a watered down sage green. The bodies of these snails are a cool light grey. It’s a pure breed developed hundreds of years ago underground in several AUs and is a favorite at shows. The snails are tiny, rarely larger than a walnut and can only eat mushrooms and mosses. They do produce slime and have a lemony tea-like scent. The lighter and clearer looking the shell and body, the more prized the snail.
Needlecones: this is kind of the pug of the pet snail world. This pet snail breed is controversial because while adorable and friendly, it comes with a lot of health problems. The shell is very thin and long making it very hard for the snail to go in its shell, so they need constant moisturizing to stay comfortable. Many say it’s unethical to have these snails but they’re still a favorite in shows due to their unique looks.
Merhorse: A snail with a turtle like shell and a little horn on its head. They mostly come in greens and a few aquas and smell a bit like rice for some reason. They’re bigger, the size of your hand and very cuddly. They’re a water “slime” house snail, so are fine to free roam around the home without the owners worrying over the snail leaving behind slime trails. Just make sure this cutie has easy access to water dishes so it doesn’t dry out!
Shroomshells: it’s literally just a snail with a mushroom for a shell. They also eat mostly mushrooms as part of their diet. But they like ants and aphids too sometimes. They come in a huge variety and are pretty easy to breed so they’re common pets. It is a larger pet breed, the size of a beagle when fully grown, so one has to have enough space for a good enclosure as shroomshells do produce slime
Spiked punks: a finger sized breed of very bright ornamental snails. They come in vivid neon colors and have hundreds of small dull spikes on their shells. They’re friendly and popular pets, and are loved on the undernet for head banging to music lol.
Lightning shells: another ornamental snail. It’s shell Glows in the dark, usually in a bright blue white or yellow, and it makes crackling noises that sound similar to the crackling of electricity. It’s another popular pet breed due to it being pretty low maintenance. These sweeties can eat almost anything and are tough against temperature changes.
Mop shells: named after the strange curly bumpy texture on their shells, this is a large domesticated snail, the size of a sheep. It’s bred purely for companionship and are very cuddly pets. Thankfully they’re one of the water “slime” breeds so are allowed to free roam. And they tend to prefer dryer climates. They’re dumb as rocks though.
And if anyone’s interested, here’s all about artemis’ personal snail breed the sunset surprise!

Romanian Cuisine
So, the beginning of the month I had the pleasure to spend 8th of March with some friends in Romania and while trying their traditional kitchen I came up with the idea to create some dishes for our Sims to enjoy some delicious Romanian food too! I hope you enjoy it!
Mămăligă - polenta made out of yellow maize flour. Historically a peasant food, it was often used as a substitute for bread or even as a staple food in the poor rural areas.
Ostropel - typical Romanian stew that is primarily made from chicken mixed with a thick tomato sauce. Additionally, garlic or spring onions can be added to the dish.
Tochitură - traditional Romanian and Moldovan dish made from pork cut into small cubes. It is traditionally served with over-easy  eggs and mămăligă.
Tochitură de Pui - Tochitură but instead of pork cuts is made with chicken.
Joffre Cake - chocolate buttermilk layer cake filled with chocolate ganache and frosted with chocolate buttercream originally created at Bucharest's Casa Capșa restaurant, shortly after WWI.
Papanași - doughnut-shaped with the doughnut hole on top traditionally fried or boiled, they are served covered in crème fraîche, and topped with sour cherries or jam.
Gogoși - sweet pastries similar to filled doughnuts that are deep-fried in oil and optionally dusted with icing sugar.
Zmeurată - alcoholic beverage produced from raspberry, sugar and alcohol.
Socată - soft drink made from the flowers of the elderberry shrub.  It may be non-alcoholic or, usually, low-alcoholic, and can be  carbonated or non-carbonated, depending on the fermentation type and  duration.

Chinese Cuisine
Hello everyone! I survived the first month of my studies! Woohoo! xD
So, I finally managed to finish the content for this month! March theme is Chinese Cuisine!
I hope you like it!
30/03 - for Donators ; 13/04 for Patrons
Steamed Veggie / Chicken / Pork Buns - is a type of yeast-leavened filled bun[1] in various Chinese cuisines. There are many variations in fillings (meat or vegetarian) and preparations, though the buns are most often steamed.
Misua - is a very thin variety of salted noodles made from wheat flour. Plain misua is usually served plain with pork hocks (猪腳麵線) in stewed broth as a Taiwanese birthday tradition.
Mapo Tofu - is a popular Chinese dish from Sichuan province. It consists of tofu set in a spicy sauce, typically a thin, oily, and bright red suspension, based on douban (fermented broad bean and chili paste), and douchi (fermented black beans), along with minced meat, traditionally beef and vegetables.
Xihongshi Jidan Tang - is a common Chinese soup. It is made by beating eggs into egg drops and pouring them into the soup, then adding seasonings and chopped green onions.
Mooncake - is a Chinese bakery product traditionally eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋節). Mooncakes are usually eaten in small wedges, accompanied by tea.
Water Chestnut Cake - is a sweet Cantonese dim sum dish made of shredded Chinese water chestnut. The cake is usually cut into square-shaped slices and pan-fried before serving. The cake is soft, but holds its shape after the frying. Sometimes the cake is made with chopped water chestnuts embedded into each square piece with the vegetable being visible. One of the main trademark characteristics of the dish is its translucent appearance.
Baijiu - is a colorless Chinese liquor typically coming in between 35% and 60% alcohol by volume (ABV) and usually distilled from fermented sorghum, although other grains may be used; some southeastern Chinese styles may employ rice and glutinous rice while other Chinese varieties may use wheat, barley, millet.
Suanmeitang - is a traditional Chinese beverage made from smoked plums, rock sugar, and other ingredients such as sweet osmanthus. Due to the sour plums used in its production, suanmeitang is slightly salty in addition to being sweet and rather sour.

December (Christmas) Menu
I don't know how many of you know this little fact about me, but I am from Bulgaria. Although I live and study in Scotland for the last few years. And because this year I won't be home for Christmas, nostalgia hits me quite hard. That's how this month's delights were created. It's a special menu that is prepared for the Christmas Eve (Except for the Banitsa, which is traditionally made for New Year), all dishes are a must for every bulgarian family. On 24th of december is important all the dishes to be vegan and the dishes have to be an odd number, usually 7 or 9.
This month is 'Bulgarian Christmas Eve Cuisine' month!
11/12 - for Donators ; 25/12 for Patrons
Festive Bread - Pogača or Pitta, as is known in bulgarian, is a type of bread baked in the ashes of the fireplace, and later in modern ovens. When we make the festive bread for 24th, the chef puts a hidden coin in it before baking. It is believed whoever get the coin, will have abundance of luck and money in the upcoming year. This tradition symbolizes the hope for prosperity and good fortune in the upcoming year.
Pumpkin Pie - Tikvenik, as is known in bulgarian. There should be a sweet part on the Christmas Eve table, so life next year will be sweet. Tikvenik is a type of sweet pastry made of rolled phyllo, similar to strudel, filled with sweetened grated pumpkin pulp and baked in an oven.
Vine Sarmi - Stuffed Grape Leaves, sarmi is the most famous traditional Bulgarian dish on Christmas Eve. They can be grape or cabbage leaves stuffed with rice, plums, and spices. (I already made cabbage stuffed leaves before, so I alternated now)
14/12 - for Donators ; 28/12 for Patrons
Mulled Wine - Wine is a big part of Bulgarian culture, almost every family make their own wine at home.
Stuffed Peppers with Beans - These are dried stuffed peppers similar to Sarmi, traditionally stuffed with beans on Christmas Eve, although in some areas in Bulgaria they are stuffed with rice. We also add plums or raisins, which go well with the pepper skin.
Oshav - Dried fruit soup (compote of dried fruits), a super easy soup from different dried fruits. In this dried fruit compote, you can find dried plums, apples, apricots, pears, quinces, oranges. The resulting drink is similar to punch, usually drunk with the dessert.
18/12 - for Donators ; 1/01 for Patrons
Mulled Rakia - Rakia, is the collective term for fruit spirits popular in the Balkans. The alcohol content of rakia is normally 40% ABV, but home-produced rakia can be stronger (typically 50%). (I made a functional Rakia Set once, you can download it HERE)
Banitsa - Is a traditional pastry made in Bulgaria. Banitsa is prepared by layering a mixture of whisked eggs, plain yogurt, and pieces of white brined cheese between filo pastry and then baking it in an oven. Traditionally in Bulgaria, lucky charms are put into the pastry on New Year's Eve. These charms may be written happy wishes on small pieces of paper and wrapped in tin foil. Wishes may include happiness, health, or success throughout the new year (similar to fortune cookies).
Baklava - It was one of the most popular sweet pastries of Ottoman cuisine. Due to our shared history, this dessert is very common in Bulgaria and it's usually prepared to be served on Christmas day.
ALL ITEMS WILL BECOME PUBLIC 4 WEEKS AFTER ORIGINAL RELEASE, YOU CAN FIND THEM ON CURSEFORGE ALL FREE ITEMS!
