The Beast - "Fiction" moment is seriously one of those candies that are just something small I hear about as it happens but becomes significant szd evidence for me.

Because from a bxg's perspective, they used the same song & it said "I love you" and that's super cute, good candy, the end. But from a passerby or THEIR perspective? There is a large group of people -- bxg are a known quantity -- who are going to take any coincidence between these two actors as a Sign, and they still did that. The first thing I thought was, is this just a popular trend audio right now? So I checked the best I could, and no, it's a very popular song but not a trend during that time. (If anybody on Chinese social media has evidence otherwise please share!)

Anyways, I'm having a weirdly hard time finding XZ's or posts about the coincidence (maybe it's cuz I'm on my phone rn... I'll be home in a week and posts on this blog will be better), but to my memory: XZ's was posted by the Zang Hai douyin account but was understood to be sent by his team (this may simply be hearsay, but finding no evidence of "Fiction" trending in general it makes more sense than genuine coincidence), and it was posted after Yibo's, and then a few days later he or the Zang Hai acc posted again using the full audio including the "I love you" part. I want to source things on this blog well, but unforchies this is all I have rn

SO to GET to the POINT Yibo's video has no special purpose, it is just a general update that a celebrity posts to keep the fans fed while nothing is going on, however XZ's is a promo post.

So it is my belief that dd made his video after GG told him about his own video, and posted it when GG told him the show would be posting his promo video. Posting before the show - maybe that was an accident, or maybe for it to seem less like a reaction? XZ has more plausible deniability when an impersonal account happens to post something prepared than WYB does posting on personal acc. But maybe too much in the end, and that's why XZ posted again with the full audio. (Using the same audio twice would make sense from non-bxg perspective IF "Fiction" was relevant to Zhang Hai... which as far as I can it isn't really, Zhang Hai is a revenge story and "Fiction" is a love song.)

The short of it: from a non-bxg perspective, this is ridiculous behavior. They have a legion of "unhinged" ship fans but don't even prevent themselves using the same love song on the same day? And then using it again?? The only argument against szd from there is they are faking a (controversial!) relationship on purpose for some reason. But from Yizhan's perspective, what makes the most sense is Yibo purposely making a general update+candy after XZ created promotional content -- Yizhan working together for the benefit of turtles 🥰

When I get home I'm going to watch the full XNINE DDU episode. Because from the clips I've seen, Yibo kind of looks like swept-off-his-feet instant crush, but Zhan is more acting like he already knows Yibo, gravitating towards him. I need to figure this out and also look into all other Devil's Timeline coincidences, establish my own mental timeline.

I’m just saying if Daniel Radcliffe, the literal protagonist of the Harry Potter franchise since the age of ten years old, was able to disavow JK Rowling and move on from the HP universe then actually what the fuck is anyone else’s excuse. There is no one else on the planet who can say their entire childhood was HP more than that guy and he still cared about trans people more than the average tumblr user who says “we’re protesting by making all her characters queer and trans!!” like you can do better. You should do better.

Hi I made a blog for 🐢 activity for 1 shitpost and now realize I would like to post a lot more so intro!

I'm Chem, he/she (this blog is a safe space for all trans&genderqueer ppl!). I'm an American of Chinese descent (mixed-race) and I am... not fluent in, but know Mandarin -- PLEASE send me things to translate, I've seen mid translations float around this fandom for ages, and even people saying that usage of typical Chinese punctuation like title markers is a "weird symbol coincidence", UGH!

Anyways, I've actually been a turtle since... late 2022? I've gone through a few cycles of completely putting the interest on hold and then becoming completely obsessed again. My whole path to turtledom is funny and I'll probably post about it later regardless of if anyone wants to hear about it lol. I'm a Devil's Timeline believer -- still figuring out which one though.

I recently joined 小红书, also looking at 🐢 stuff there :) Absolutely willing to interface with c-turtles, though honestly I recommend getting your own 小红书, it's fun. Oh, and I'm a total atheist -- any spirituality stuff like the compatibility prediction thing is just a fun coincidence to me (though I will admit that is a really sweet coincidence -- still, I do not believe in any spiritual dimension to reality). In general, I try pretty hard to be logical about what I believe, but that doesn't mean I don't clown around!

I don't tolerate racism, fetishization of East Asians (or anyone else but that's what's relevant) including exotification&mystification of our cultures, the fetishization-homophobia-sexism of obsessing over gay men's sex positions, misogyny sexism and homophobia in general, transphobia (including and especially towards ppl with uncommon or "weird" gender identities), and don't be weird about mixed-race people or atheists. And I'm against generative AI.

ive been seeing clips of a photoshoot where Xiao Zhan has a high ponytail as Wei Wuxian and why didn't they do that specific hair/makeup look more (maybe it was there being more front hair?) because he looks soooooo ... well I'm asexual so my "hot" probably isn't the same as your "hot" but I think that's the best word for it!
