Chronic pain is forever asking yourself if you can get through this pain or if you should reach for the medication. Deciding no and sitting there repeating to yourself "it's not that bad, I need to save the pain meds for when it's worse."

Nobody prepared you for what was going to happen in your life. You didn’t get a warning that chronic illness was going to become a major part of your life. You have been able to figure this out with zero preparation, and for that I am proud of you. <3
