People on Internet need to learn what loanwords are. I'm begging you all to look it up. People are not mispronouncing words from other languages when using them in english sentences, adapting words to fit with your language phonemes is normal, it's not disrespectful, the same word when put in an other language will be pronounced differently, it work like that with every languages. The only cases where it can be disrespectful is with names.

Happy belated birthday to our other resident curly boy, Alf! 💛 As a kid I would watch the show Alf during some tough times, but this zesty cat-loving alien kept me smiling in good company. Hayley would later say the same in her life when her pup came to her side in 2014. He's now 11 years old, a sweet companion beloved by all within the Paramore community! 🥺 I knew I had to make something for this special boy's birthday based on his namesake. I referenced a picture of Alf the alien Hayley shared in her story on his birthday, a retro poster and a trading card from the show, to put this all together for Alfie. With a quote from a 2014 interview with Hayley talking about her boy. Inspo below!
