Can you believe that I got to draw Vilgorr again? And on page 60 of the comic overall, no less! That feels like so many pages, and this is after 50 also felt like, a LOT of pages.

Captive Attention, pages 1-7.

Grime isn't in the big tub because he was hurt, or anything, he just deserves to spend a little time outside of the magically-pressurized-tube-suit/tank. I worried Ruby's anxiety dream would seem a little Too Real for the comic, but nothing on this chapter is more real than me looking at Grime and saying "that's me in every group project..."

"chris grace: as scarlett johansson" is like easily in the top three things dropout's ever put out and I haven't seen a single post about it outside of actively looking through the tag for posts about it. I can't even reblog gifsets of my favorite bits from it because nobody's made any gifs of it

it bothers me that you often don't really hear about people having a "favorite album" the way they might have a favorite movie or favorite video game

in most ways i am very doglike, but my most feline behavior is that i will start bringing you posts i found while out and about and leave them in your dms

i am pro-copyright infringement. anybody who does fanfiction or fanart or anything should be pro-copyright infringement and obviously we are on the Fanart Website. why this is not a more popular stance among people who spend all their time doing transformative works is beyond me

It is not a very well kept secret that Archskull Vilgorr is kind of my favorite. He has a skull-themed mask, he gets to be in on a spit-take joke, has the first chapter that really broke containment on my 5 Pages At A Time rule, he's huge, and drinks fancy beverages out of coconuts in a hot tub.

I feel like Vilgorr and Liege haven't seen each other in quite a bit, but they always used to greet each other by their full name and title, in INCREDIBLY bold text. Maybe they will again, someday!

it kills me how Chris Grace's Chris Grace: As Scarlett Johansson is never going to get the attention that Bo Burnham's Inside did, despite Grace playing with metatextuality in an arguably much more interesting way--like if Grace's special was treated as a piece of art worthy of media analysis to the same extent, I think the conversations would have a broader scope and depth. There is so much to chew on in the repetitions and layered performances and the questions about identity. But you search the tag and there's nothing.
