The undiagnosed ADHD was very strong in this teenager. Very often in class he would just zone out while staring intently at his textbook, or he would get too distracted by fiddling with his pencil or pen to even realizing that the teacher is talking.

Palmer did manage to stay on top of his homework... but a lot of his assignments were crammed out last-minute.

Was he irresponsible? Yes. Was he the responsible one between him and Byron? Somehow, yes.

He got his driver’s license the moment he was old enough to get it.

He did have a frequent habit of sneaking out in the middle of the night. Sometimes he would just walk around, sometimes he would go annoy Byron.

He was always in need of a haircut.

For once, that incessant sniffing is not the sound of Palmer’s Furfrou signalling his arrival - indeed, that sniffing and sniffling is coming from the Tycoon himself. He’s laying on the floor, and it seems that he has completely given up and accepted his fate on the ground. At least he has a box of tissues.

Seasonal allergies got the best of him.

... I’m ( likely over- ) thinking about the black sheep on my multi, and what to do with him.

So, Gavner. He's the muse that I have the most motivation and desire to write for at the moment.

BUT... I also recognize that he’s very out of place on my multi, being from a completely different series, even if I have thrown him into a PKMN verse. Admittedly, I’m a bit hesitant to try and use him mainly due to the “oh god what if my mutuals think I’m cringe” factor. I’ve kind of been avoiding touching the multi due to that, and debating what I should do with this muse.

( I have... 30 posts in my drafts about this guy - I really want to do things with him, but he just feels so out of place I’m hesitant to post any more of him. )

I could do nothing? Keep him where he is and accept that he’s gonna be a bit out of place at times.

I could move him to his own sideblog, and I’ve strongly considered it a few times - but I’m already having an extremely hard time getting people to follow Brandon or my multimuse as is. I feel like condemning such an obscure character to a sideblog would be the end of him.

I could move him to his own primary, but I don’t want to start over from scratch - it’s a lot of effort to do, and I’ve struggled to manage multiple primaries back when I had Brandon on his own primary...

So, today I found out that ‘strived’ isn’t a word. The past tense of ‘strive’ is ‘strove’ and I hate that.

He strived for X.

He strove for X.

He had striven for X.

Strived sounds more natural!!! It flows better!!! I hate this language so much

Well... writing daily posts for Palmer for the past 3 months has caused me to get a little bit burnt out on him. To be honest, he’s been my main for nearly two years if we count Discord, so I think this was coming sooner or later.

I’m going to put him on the backburner for a little bit and shift my focus to my sideblogs in the meantime. I’ll try and get some posts out ( + proper promos out ) at some point tonight for those blogs, after I do a bit of cleaning ( making sure my rules and blocklists are up to date, etc )!

Tell something you want others to know about you!

I have very, very severe ADHD, and it really impacts the way that I communicate with mutuals, plot roleplays, reply to threads, so on.

Basically, my brain? It's a mess. Anything around me that could be stimulating and distracting, is stimulating and distracting. I'm notoriously slow to answer asks and post replies - I've got stuff in my inbox that's a year+ old that I'm planning on answering, along with multiple drafts from January 2021 - and it's not that I'm lazy, nor that I don't care. It's that I cannot organize my brain to actually complete these tasks, even though I want to.

I'll start on a reply, then get distracted, then before I know it an hour has passed and I have made no progress.

When it comes to DMs, plotting out RPs/ships/etc - there's a 90% chance I'll read your DM, but after that it's 50/50 on whether I'll immediately answer you, or whether I'll think that I've answered you when I actually hadn't.

"Oh hey, I should reply to so-and-so-" and then I get distracted by a draft and completely forget to answer a DM that has been sitting there for a week.

Gahhh I care about all of my mutuals but it's so difficult for me to stay on top of everythinggg
