How To Become a Myth

1.

Fly into the sun, defy anyone who tells you that you cannot love Him.

The ocean will break your fall. even if it is by drowning you.

Get stolen by a God away from the meadows you once knew, wood nymph.

Become Queen of the Underworld. Turn the land of the dead into home.

(You knew didn’t you, Kore? How to survive you would become Persephone?)

3.

Turn yourself into an echo of the person you used to be, then fall in love with him.

And when he doesn’t notice you Instead falls in love with himself, pine away.

Become an indestructible monster. Become the thing that warriors speak of in hushed breaths in terror.

When you finally do die at someone’s hands make sure it is glorious.

Dream

Had a dream where everyone was undead. Not zombies but not vampires either. I was the main female and I had a special ability to do something. Verbal? Written? Musical? I can't remember now. Maybe something simple like it was hard to injure or hurt me physically, if near impossible. Something. One guy was a major flirt, kind of had the bad boy vibe, a bit of a cocky asshole used to getting his way and took an interest in me. Tried to flirt but I was absolutely uninterested because I could tell right off the bat he was a cocky asshole and that irritated me. When his attempts didn't work, every so often he tried his magic on me which I was somehow able to deflect, by just not looking at him directly and ignoring him? You could tell when he was about to use it because something would flicker in his eyes and I'd deflect and ignore it just in time which always annoyed him, but he never gave up completely. Instead I was clearly more interested in this quiet, nerdy guy and blatantly attempted to pursue him while ignoring mister bad boy's attempts at flirtation. Nerdy guy was flattered and the feelings were mutual. Bad boy eventually calmed down and was just my friend, though on ocassion he did attempt to flirt or use his powers on me, which I always shot down or ignored. Pursued a relationship with nerdy guy for awhile, eventually the three of us were chased by these murderous, tribal looking undead kids. Went tumbling down a cliff side while trying to evade them. Found out they were bad boy's people, whom he escaped from years ago and of course he was the best of them. For some reason he was the only one able to grow up. There was a little girl who tried to spark and rekindle a relationship she'd had with the bad boy which lowkey made me kind of jealous and she noticed and would rub it in my face subtly, while Bad Boy seemed to be unaware of this and the fact it made me jealous. He always rejected or ignored her advances and attempts, even saying he couldn't get with someone who was still technically a child. She may have gave up at this point?

Eventually his group for some reason wants to cut off my nails like declawing a cat. Which would mean not only losing my nails but the tips/first joint of my fingers. Not sure why. After some debate and arguing all around, trying to not have to get maimed. Bad boy offers to take my place and get declawed. I try to argue and refuse to let him take my place. But they accept the trade, for some reason when its him, they simply clip his fingernails which were absurdly long anyhow. Idk why. Never noticed he had claws before. It was a bit anticlimactic and I didn't understand why for him they just clipped his nails but I decided not to question it.

Eventually to mess with him cause he misses the length of his nails I give him bright, colorful acrylic girly nails which he isn't thrilled with but eventually accepts. Then we all go to a big open field to watch a film on a projector. During the movie I seem to realize I have feelings for him, i think there is a confession and we kiss. The child chick gets a bit jealous of this. I wake up around here.
