Saddened by the news The Acolyte isn't getting a second season. Shame, I was starting to get really interested in Star Wars because of The Acolyte. I was even ready to watch the entire franchise and dive into the lore because of it :/

the state of the entertainment industry is in shambles, they can't keep cancelling shows after 1 season and without letting them be even a few months and then expect us to keep watching them

WHY WOULD WE EVEN BOTHER WATCHING SOMETHING THAT STATISTICALLY HAS MORE CHANCES OF GETTING CANCELLED THAN RENEWED

I miss when we would complain that a show needed to die, that they were just unnecessarily stretching the plot, now we have to beg for them to renew them for the second season even if they weren't an overnight sensation, viral on every platform and the most streamed show of the year

the industry and art and storytelling and actors and artists and crew members and audiences are all suffering cause a bunch of overgrown toddlers throw fits for not being number one by cancelling everything and I am so fucking tired I hate it so much
