Everyone knows that on Uber/Lyft you should always give the driver five stars unless they, like, drive the car into the ocean or something, right?  You can’t say “the ride was fine, nothing special, so I gave them three stars,” because the company will punish them for being anything less than perfect.

Well, you should know that the same rule goes for any kind of customer service survey.  Unless the service you received was unacceptable, give them 5/5 or 10/10 or whatever.  It’s annoying, because it ruins the sensitivity of the survey, but it’s how it’s gotta be.  9/10 gets treated like a problem and 6/10 gets treated like a disaster.   Understand this and do the workers a favor by grading easy.

Some little salty spell jars I whipped up!

Salt is a witch’s go-to ingredient for spellwork, so I made tree variations of simple salt spell jars! Salt is used to absorb energy and cleanse. These are great charms to carry with you, super portable.

Motivation Spell

Here is an ultra quick and easy motivation or energy spell for you all!

What you need:

dried orange peels (any citrus works but orange and grapefruit are my faves)

cinnamon

clove

mirror

dish (plate, jar, whatever)

small candle (I use an off white but you can use any color)

felt tip pen or marker

Optional: Anything you find motivating like coffee grounds, tea, etc.

How to:

Begin by setting up your scene. Get somewhere neat and tidy and make sure there’s enough space for your mirror either standing or laying and your dish. I use a 5x7’’ mirror and a little Pyrex bowl that’s maybe ¾ C. Situate your candle in the dish. Using your writing utensil, write out the things you’d like to accomplish on the peels. Sprinkle the spices onto the peels. Spread the peel mixture around the candle being very careful not to get it in the wax.

Place your mirror in your clean spot. Set the dish either in front or on top of the mirror depending on your set up. Light your candle while thinking about how super great you’ll feel once you get all your junk done. If you want to, you can think about all the things you need to do and how you want them to turn out. The spell is done when the candle is melted (tea light) or when it is just above the top of the peel mixture.

Note: The peel mixture is flammable. Please be very careful and make sure you watch your candle and how low it gets!

Really easy spells!

Make a wish!

What you’ll need:

•A pice of paper

���A bowl of water

Do this spell at night.

Write down on a pice of paper what you want to happen. Try to keep it simple and possible, this will make the spell work better. Once you have what you want on a pice of paper, hold the paper in the water for about 20 seconds. Then, rip up the paper and throw it away. Drink a little bit of the water, and pour the rest into a sink.

Invite positive spirits into your home.

What you’ll need:

•A small white candle

•A match or lighter

You can do this spell anytime you are alone.

Light the candle and focus on it. Think of your happiest memories, and what kind of people you need or missing in your life. Do this until the candle is used up.

Cleanse an object

Cleansing an object is ridding something of negative energy. This spell is very simple, so if an object has a major curse, you may need to use a spell that requires more energy or experience.

What you’ll need:

•A paper towel

•A safe spot to light a small fire

•Bay leaves

•A match or lighter

Wrap your bay leaves in a paper towel. Think positive thoughts and emotions while doing this. Do not do this spell when you are feeling unhappy. Then, light the paper towel. Hold your object over the towel, making sure every part of the object gets covered with the smoke. Safely dispose of the paper towel and keep the object in a safe and happy place.

(Remember when you are doing spells, if you ever somehow end up in physical or spiritual danger, stop doing them. Stay safe.)

🌙 gather: a white or pink candle, full moon water, cosmetics or face lotion. 

🌙 light your candle, a plain one or a pink one.

🌙 do at night, look up at the mostly full moon.

🌙 annoint the cosmetics or face lotion with the full moon water

🌙 apply the cosmetics or face lotion, then speak:

“moon, bright and full, grant me your glow bring back the beauty, that i used to know”

🌙 bask in the moonlight for a little while, until you feel it is done.

🌙 blow out your candle.

Moon Mermaid “Beauty lies within” spell

Purpose: to help you see the true beauty of someone. Can be applied to self.

Ingredients:

a little bawl of milk

two tablespoon of rose water

a small handful of jasmine flowers

one pink candle

one blue candle

two compresses

This spell is better performed during a Waxing Moon

Light your two candles and take the time to meditate on all the things you love and appreciate about the target of the spell, the little things, but also the positive physical features. Viualize them increasing, becoming more and more important. Only see what is beautiful in this person. Surround yourself with positive and loving energy.

Then, add to the milk the rose water and the flowers. Put your hands on it and see your energy going into the milk.

While doing so, say this spell:

“ What I am not able to see

Now will be revealed to me

Let my heart become my guide

Let me discover without any pride

The beauty to which I was blind

And that I wish to welcome in my mind”

Then, take the two compresses and wet them with the milk. Apply to your eyes and stay lying down for 10-15 minutes while meditating on the target of your spell and calling on positive and loving energy. You can repeat the spell if you wish to, to help you focus.

Once this done, once you feel ready, go wash your eyes carefully.

Pink Sugar Heart Spell (Sailor Mini Moon Inspired)

A spell to promote cuteness and radiance.

You Will Need:

💝 Pink Gemstones of your choice (ex: rose quartz, pink tourmaline, pink apatite, rhodonite, etc)* 💝 White Gemstones of your choice (ex: quartz, white opal, moonstone, opalite, howlite, etc)* 💝 Pink Rose Petals 💝 Coconut Oil (1 tbsp) 💝 Milk (1/3rd cup) 💝 Honey (1 tsp) 💝 Catnip 💝 Rosemary 💝 Sachet (preferably white or pink)

Steps:

💝 Fill your sachet with 1 part catnip and 1 part rosemary

💝 Draw your bath, as it fills add your milk, honey, and coconut oil

💝 Line your tub with your chosen gemstones in whatever pattern you feel is right

💝 Add your sachet into the water and add your rose petals.

💝 “A drop of honey, a sprinkle of rose, I step into this bath with hope, that my radiant cuteness shall glow.”

💝 Step into your bath and soak in it as long as you desire, focusing on your intent. Visualize yourself being as cute as you desire to be, with lights and glow about you. 

*Note: if you are using gemstones that can’t get wet keep them on the edge of the tub and away from the water. Research what gemstones can and can’t get wet.

Baby-Doll Eyes

Spell

Charm friends and enemies alike with this fun spell based off the fairy-type move from the Pokemon series.

What You’ll Need~

2-3 basil leaves

2 buttons

1 pearl

Pink or Silver Glitter

1 Jar

Water

Sigil for Fairy

Feel free to change or modify to suit your abilities. Be careful though! NOTE: Opal can also be used in place of the pearl.

Procedure~

Create and charge sigil. It can look however you like, and be created with whatever method you choose, as long as it connects to Fairy Type moves!

Put the basil, buttons, and pearl, and glitter into the jar. WARNING: Glitter will get everywhere if you’re not careful… so… bring a broom.

Fill halfway with water.

Hold the jar and envision a white/light blue light around your eyes, entrancing and bewitching those around you.

Keep the jar and its contents safe for as long as you feel you need to effects for. Don’t let it get moldy though! I suggest refrigerating or keeping in a cool, dark place until you’re ready to empty (and retrieve your gemstone/pearl!)
