Slapped some color on a sketch for my Attrition, Retention AU! Emmet's just sharing some clan gossip with Ingo.

Basically the idea is the boys landed in Hisui when they were young, so they grew up in the Pearl Clan and both became Sneasler's wardens. The fic is set after they are suddenly brought back to Unova.

literally cannot stress enough how much i like drawing ingo sleeping. can we HEAR IT for "don't let yourself be lulled to sleep by the afternoon sunshine" ‼️‼️ CAN WE GET THREE CHEERS FOR ONE OF THE REAL NAPPERS OUT THERE!

i also personally think that emmet is a guy who likes to work out. in my mind his love of battling translates a little as him being a guy who cares about getting good exercise LOL. his team puts so much energy into training and being the best they could possibly be! and as their trainer and the man who's working with them, he should put in that effort too! because it's something he's very passionate about! + i do just love drawing him holding his pokemon and they are heavy LOL
