Yes, this blog's name is a 'yo mama' joke in Polish, thank my sib for that

This blog revolves around bookbinding and related things. I use it mostly to reblog inspiration-worthy posts and add my own tags to pinpoint what caught my eye — this includes cover designs, design in general, colour palettes, materials, techniques, fonts, typesetting and typography. I'll try to appropriately tag it as I reblog it but I can get lazy 😬

Li'l bit about me

Name's Charlie. I'm a trans bloke from Poland/UK and Graphic Design drop-out who loves design but hates the design industry — the only thing a year of graphic design degree gave me is a mild passion for editorial design and colour theory, which I've been mostly using for bookbinding projects (I'm not very good at graphic design, either...) Fanfiction enthusiast from a way too young age that jumps around fandoms tremendously. I despise dust jackets and will avoid them at all costs.

I start many projects and finish not so many — due to ADHD and lack of time — but I like to hover around the topic and pretend I'm working on a project by reblogging various inspo posts and making lists. I'm also a bit shy about showing my stuff in the making and do not trust the process so 😏👉🏻✨
