Pick Your Battles

A/N: What I actually got something written? Yes! Cheers to summer and cheers to all the potential SU tickle fights :)

Summary: Pearl, Steven, and Amethyst want revenge for a time when Garnet tickled them silly.

Words: 1,196

The first thing Garnet noticed when she entered the kitchen, having returned from her mission, was Pearl smiling so uncharacteristically. There was a bead of sweat dripping down from her hairline.

“Hello Garnet!” Pearl called, a little louder than usual.

“Pearl.” Garnet nodded at her, feeling a tad uneasy. She glanced at the space on her flanks.

“Now!” Amethyst’s voice rang out behind her.

Garnet spun toward the sound but was bombarded by a ball of purple flying toward her head. Steven’s mischievous giggle appeared near her legs, the final tipping point pushing her onto her back on the floor. Garnet struggled but found herself unable to fight off Amethyst, and now Pearl who had joined her in trying to pin Garnet down, without worry of harming Steven who sat over her legs.

“I’ll give you one chance to take this back.” Garnet warned.

“No way!” Amethyst snorted.

“Yeah!” Pearl agreed with a smirk. “You thought you got Steven and I bad last week? You have another thing coming.” She raised her eyebrow at Garnet, who had begun to grow nervous.

Lapis Lazuli had awoken in a strange contraption, confused as to where she was or why she was there. Of course a familiar voice popped out of the door and out walked her nerdy friend, Peridot.

Lapis shook trying to get free from the restraints to no avail. Peridot giggled before saying, "I believe you'll find the binds you're in to be quite inescapable. Your gravity connectors are snugly bonded and your 'toes' fixed back to prevent them from interrupting my experiment."

She finished before stroking her fingers gently down the length of Lapis' helpless soles. This warranted an IMMEDIATE reaction from Lapis her body shaking her feet trying to squirm out to no avail.

"You see, humans are able to emit happiness by poking, stroking and prodding certain areas of the body. So I became curious to whether or not the same would be possible for gems." She said scribbling her fingers around the helpless canvas of Lapis' feet. Lapis tugged and pulled but she could only lay there and helplessly giggle as Peridot tormented her feet.

"OH GAHAHAD! PERIDOT! STAHAHAP!! I DON'T LIKE THIS FEELING AT ALL!!"

"Stop?! I just started my experiments! It appears the sensitivity of your gravity connectors is quite high! I'll mark this area a 10/10 for sensitivity!" She said jotting down notes before using her powers to pick up these metal finger like rods and making them poke her sides erratically while the others circled her belly.

The thrashing was almost immediate. Lapis squirmed and tried to move her body as much as she could, but the bonds prevented any sort of movement that could be made to avoid the tickling. She spurted out, her laughter becoming louder, and increasingly more panicked.

"PERIDOHOHOHOT!! ENOUGH! I CAN'T HAHAHAHANDLE THIS ANYMOHOHOHORE! PLEHEHEHEHEASE!!"

Peridot scratched her chin before jotting down more notes. "It appears that when I prod other areas in addition to her gravity connectors, that her laughter and happiness increase by 4 times the amount."

Lapis continued to squirm and laugh, tears beginning to stream out of her eyes from the duress her physical form was put under. She couldn't poof as she wasn't under physical harm.

Peridot picked up two hair brushes before rubbing them against her hand. They felt quite strange against her hand so she figured this would be a good tool to try on her gravity connectors. She used a bottle of lotion to prevent friction from the plastic against them before scrubbing them up and down.

Lapis arched her back an almost unheard of sound coming from her mouth. Peridot while taken aback wrote down more notes. "It appears these soft bristles cause more happiness than just my touch stumps. Perhaps other tools will also cause maximum happiness.

"GAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAD! I CAN'T TAHAHAHAHAHAKE THIHIHIHIHIHIS!! LEHEHEHEHET ME GOHOHOHOHOOOOO!!"

Peridot used her metal bending to pick up two toothbrushes with spinning/vibrating heads and turned them on before sliding them under her toes. They've been exposed all this time yet she almost managed to overlook them.

Lapis' eyes widened before they slammed shut, tears flowing steadily now as she screamed.

"GAHAHAHAD NOHOHOHHOHOHOHO! THIS IS HOHOHOHOHOHORRIBLE! MAKE IT STAHAHAP! I'LL DO ANYTHIHIHIHIHIHING!!!"

She begged and pleaded hoping Peridot would show some mercy. And then suddenly all of it stopped. After 7 hours of torment and experiments, she could finally breathe again.

She was released from her restraints although she felt too weak to stand. Peridot patted her shoulder cheerfully. "Thank you for taking part in this very educating experiment. Although involuntary it was very much appreciated.

Lapis slumped down her eyes closing as she had been completely exhausted. She'd passed out right there.
