WEATHER REPORT - TEN OF COINS. ⠀ ⠀ Today, I just wanna say that you get to choose the shape of your happiness. ⠀ ⠀ Traditionally, the “happiness and fulfillment” cards of the tarot - the Ten of Coins and the Ten of Cups - look a particular kind of way. Sure, they’re metaphors, but the symbols they use to convey their messages are pretty limiting for many of us. ⠀ ⠀ Usually, it’s all “be straight! Be white! Make money! Be monogamous! And isn’t this Justice card dark and intriguing? They say Justice is blind, and maybe we will be too if we don’t manage to find some balance. ⠀ ⠀ This card reminds us that we live in an interdependent web of cause and effect. Our words and actions may have further reaching consequences than we realize. That may sound a little threatening, and this image may look a little dark, but I think we can feel into these ideas today in order to find the gold in them. ⠀ ⠀ Yes, we have a responsibility to act fairly, and to consider how our choices ripple out into the world around us. WEATHER REPORT - EIGHT OF SWORDS.⠀ ⠀ Every astrologer I know has warned that the celestial vibes today are looking pretty dang spicy. It sounds like there’s plenty of potential for flaring tempers, wounded egos, cheap shots, grumps and grouchiness. ⠀ ⠀ The Eight of Swords says, maybe all this heavily shit is all in our heads! Or, ok, it’s real, but do we need to take it on? We only get weighed down by it if we choose to pick it up and carry it, after all. ⠀ ⠀ While all this intense astro is making our day fraught, what we can do is pay attention to what our own minds are up to. Are we taking things personally, getting fired up unnecessarily?
