An offline talent showcase could be the result of ongoing online showcases. Many of our talented youth desire to be the next Kirk Franklin. Let’s get them involved in music ministry before the world finds out how talented they are. Once the appeal of money and fame is seen, many young people succumb to secular recording contracts. This is not where God wants their voices to be used.

Youth Ministry 2011 Black History Presentation
It is important to recognize Black History in the Black church. We can no longer leave this up to the schools or social media. In some cases, what is seen as “history” on social media, is incorrect! Let’s get the youth involved in black history (June is Black Music Month and the gospel industry has an impressive list of Black ministers of music!) and get them excited about church!
