This white couple from Texas came into the Mexican restaurant I work at. Talking all kinds of shit about “how they do it in Texas” and ended up ordering cheese quesadillas.
Honestly, the greatest moment on Top Chef

Reading this made me want fiction about creating the perfect dog that checks all the boxes and then I realized Pushing Daisies did exactly that.
Here’s something fun. You can love your dog, a type of dog, or a breed while still acknowledging that the genetic behavior patterns bred into their ancestors are something you should be prepared to handle. That’s not a value judgment on the dog. That’s being a good pet owner
Ex: I love huskies. Kestrel cannot go off leash outside our fenced area despite my having trained a recall, because huskies were bred to run for miles and miles and she will TAKE OFF in a way Kiwi the sheltie will not

You gotta understand that some people never really grow. They never learn their lesson. They never recognise their mistakes, they never acknowledge their faults, they never admit they were in the wrong. You will never receive an apology from them, and you will never see their behaviour change.
