Emoticons Blog #1
Emoticons. They can be something that can convey emotions or simply can be sent between two people to continue a conversation between two people that they know won’t ever continue forth without the unsaid language. It gives people an opportunity to branch out and maybe think of their more creative side. But that’s from the teen, technology craving person. Honestly, emoticons can and are used to replace words and statements that shouldn’t be replaced in the first place. Sure they represent convenience, but saying something or saying a statement shouldn’t be said just cuz, it should be said because the other person ACTUALLY means it. Of course emoticons can help convey a point of main message, but the message should already be specifically stated and given before the emoticon, since actions speak louder than words, but in the case of not being able to act upon something through the texting (since a physical proof of actually acting upon something would be needed), words would be able to suffice. But of course, that’s just my perspective. Of: Emoticons.

Looking Glass
Why are you doing this to me? Can't you see that I'm in love with you? Why are you doing this to me? I just want to know Can't you see in your looking glass? Looking glass, looking glass Can't you just open your own eyes Just see me clearly? Can't you just see me alone Through your looking glass...

Sometimes I think to myself that society purposefully accustoms billions of girls to act a certain way in order to present themselves with grace and beauty. But the actual definition of beauty is already stated above but I think that there are tons of people in society that know for a fact that this definition SHOULD NOT BE ONLY LIMITED TO HOW VISUALLY APPEALING A PERSON IS. Beauty should not only be limited to how pleasing you look. Beauty can basically be found anywhere and from anyone if we actually take the time to appreciate it.

Just took the @psych2go quiz ( http://www.psych2go.net/whats-your-true-mental-age )and found out that for a 15 year old, I'm actually more mature than I though... Makes me wonder what more I haven't already learned about myself...

10 Reasons everyone should watch ‘Ghostbusters'
1. All characters provide comedic relief in some shape or form, especially Kate Mckinnon who acted how every female should not be afraid to act like.
2. Derogatory terms were reversed in a way that showcased males as eyecandy… thank you Chris Hemsworth by the way…
3. There were a couple sexist statements here and there, but it only fueled the power of the ghostbusters.
4. The countless references to the 1984 movie of ghostbusters… special thanks to Ernie Hudson for taking part in the movie and having a “niece” who was an actual ghostbuster
5. THE FIGHT SCENE TOWARDS THE END OF THE MOVIE THAT WAS NOT THE 90S VERSION OF A LADY, RATHER THE PRESENT 2016 VERSION OF LADY
6. Widely preached feminism in the movie with the natural lady personality
7. LADY-LIKE
8. IMAGE
9. DESTROYED
10.OVERALL

Places where reality is a bit altered:
• any target • churches in texas • abandoned 7/11’s • your bedroom at 5 am • hospitals at midnight • warehouses that smell like dust • lighthouses with lights that don’t work anymore • empty parking lots • ponds and lakes in suburban neighborhoods • rooftops in the early morning • inside a dark cabinet
