Abu Dhabi, the capital extraordinaire of U.A.E., is one of the hottest travel destinations in the Middle East. It is one of the most extravagant cities in the world. Every moment here will amaze you. 1. Grand Mosque
The first attraction you should see here is the Grand Mosque. It is the most revered attraction in all of U.A.E. The construction of the mosque was started by the ruler of Abu Dhabi, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. He wanted to unite all the different sects of Islam under one roof. The special thing about the mosque is that it has employed many people from all over the world in its making. Therefore, it is truly an international monument. It even is home to the world’s largest handmade carpet which is placed in the main prayer hall.
The mosque is spread over 30 acres of land, and is dotted with many fountains and pristine pools. The whole mosque is 290 metres by 420 metres. The main prayer hall also has 96 columns that are made with mother of pearl and marble. It is a quite a sight. The only day impossible to visit is Friday, so plan your Abu Dhabi city tour itinerary accordingly.
2. Ferrari World Abu Dhabi
It is the only Ferrari themed amusement park in the world, and is located on the famous Yas Island. Suited to kids and adults alike, this place has a plethora of attractions that will have you laughing with joy. However, as soon as you get here, get in line for Formula Rossa. It is the world’s fastest rollercoaster ride and is quite popular. After that, you can explore other rides like turbo track, flying aces, scuderia challenge, fiorano GT challenge, junior GP and more. All the action will make you hungry so you also have some awesome food joints that serve yummy food. The awesome rides, great food, and entertaining shows, team up to make for an experience that will amaze you.
3. Emirates Palace
If there’s a 7 star hotel around, you have to visit it. Though not official, the Emirates Palace is considered to be the only 7 star hotel in the world. Almost every celebrity who comes to Abu Dhabi, stays in the awe-inspiring place. The hotel has 394 rooms, and also luxuries like a private beach, 2 helipads, and there’s also an ATM that dispenses gold bars. One event you must attend here is the high-tea event. It is ticketed event where you are served delicious tea, coffee and snacks. This even gives you an opportunity to take a close look at the hotel.
4. Heritage Village
One place that you should insist in your Abu Dhabi city tour cost is the Heritage Village. It is like a place that is still stuck in time, and gives you a deep look into how people before the oil boom lived. The whole experience is created in such a way that you will feel closer to the Emirati lifestyle. The Heritage Village has a fort, a market, and even a mosque.
