I gotta say now that I have been doing crimes for about six months, my favorite part of gposing is the messy back end.

Because I think if you aren't doing it, it can look deceptive simple. Plop some plogon, turn on a shader, hit a button! Done!

The reality actually tugs hard at my theatre brain. You get an idea, look at the tools available, and problem solve how to make the vision happen. And the tricks I have learned are so fun. Cheating angles. Exploiting "voids". Intentional clipping. Focusing the camera on an invisible minion.

Yeah, you can rely on mods and do very little else to get a neat enough shot, but that, I think, is not the most common thing going on. You can tell after a while who is a mad scientist with a position or scaling gizmo doing a body horror to get a certain shot, and who is relying on the flash to sell it. It's very "community theatre on a budget" sometimes. If it looks good 20 feet away, you made it!

For every clean and polished front-facing angle you see, there is a pile of grotesquely twisted limbs and maybe a disturbingly de-penised off-screen actor you can't, and that is the charm of it for me.

I always keep coming back to monk which was the first job I ever played. In HW I tried to be a machinist, ended back on monk, in shb I wanted to be a dancer, ended back on monk, in EW I wanted to be a reaper, ended back on monk, and now in DT I've been having fun on viper, but now I've eventually caved and gone back to monk.

It might be just a tumblr community thing, but I feel like everyone here are very attached to a certain job that they associate with their wol/oc
